Poker Player and Survivor Star Anna Khait Implicated in Plot to Spy on FBI

Poker player and former reality TV show contestant Anna Khait has been implicated in an alleged plot to spy on F.B.I and US government employees.

In an article published by the New York Times, they allege that Khait was part of conservative group Project Veritas. The group supposedly engaged in efforts to spy on F.B.I. employees in an attempt to discredit perceived enemies of President Trump inside the United States government.

The Allegations

According to the article, female undercover operatives were tasked with arranging dates with F.B.I. employees. The plan was to then record employees making incriminating comments about President Trump, and in turn, use this to discredit the bureau.

Project Veritas operated out of a home in Washington that was rented for $10,000 per month. Various women lived at this address with exotic code names such as “Brazil” and “Tiger”. It is alleged that Khait was one of these women, although it is not clear what code name she may have used.

It is alleged that Khait was part of several operations, including targeting a State Department employee in order to discredit the government. The New York Times state that Khait did not respond to a request for comment.

Anna Khait was originally born in Russia in September 1988. Khait was well-known to the poker community ahead of her appearance on the 32nd season of Survivor. She was eventually eliminated in episode five after a unanimous vote.

The 32-year-old first got into poker after withdrawing her application for medical school, opting to pursue a career in poker instead. According to her profile on The Hendon Mob, Khait has $12,811 in live cashes, including a cash at the 2016 World Series of Poker.

“I don’t play full time and all day as I used to,” she told PokerNews in 2017. “I usually play poker after dinner, when there is more action anyway. I live in New Jersey, so thankfully I can play from home any time I wish.”
