Can Filatov Bag a Second WCOOP Title of 2021?

It was a busy night for Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov who not only finished third in the Super MILLION$ over on GGPoker, but also holds the chip lead with just 22 players remaining in WCOOP 71-H: $2,100 NLHE.

Last month he won WCOOP 06-H for $97,851 and will be looking to secure a $134,908 first prize when play resumes. He’s joined in Day 2 by several others including PokerStars Ambassador Lex Veldhuis and Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane.

Filatov will start the day in a very comfortable position, having over 60 more big blinds than his closest opponent. Who Will Win WCOOP 71-H

Eduardo “Eduardo850” Silva Wins WCOOP-63-M: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO] for $224,375

The World Championship of Online Poker just added another champion after just six hours of play during the final day of WCOOP-63-M: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO]. The 1,930 entry field saw just 16 return for the final day, with Eduardo “Eduardo850” Silva reigning supreme, taking down a WCOOP title and $224,375 .

Silva started the final table third in chips and quickly doubled, before sending two players to the rail to take a commanding chip lead. Three-handed, Silva battled with “baaaaddyyyy” before sending them to the rail, retaining his chip lead into heads-up.

Guilherme “Guizãoo_” Carmo was at a large deficit to begin but managed to take down a few pots quickly to close the gap. However, Silva was too much for him, picking up aces to sending Carmo to the rail and securing victory in the process.
