The 2021 PokerStars Pennsylvania Spring Championship of Online Poker (PASCOOP) kicked off on April 17 and will run through May 3, offering more than $2 million in guaranteed prize pools with buy-ins as low as $5 up to $1,000. The highlight of the series is the two-day $300 buy-in Main Event on May 2 featuring a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Each of the 40 events is comprised of three different tournaments – a High, Medium, and Low buy-in – meaning there’s a total of 120 tournaments. Through the first 13 days of the series, 90 events have run their course, catering to 35,015 combined entrants and awarding $1,845,411 in prize money in the process.
On Thursday, the clear highlight was 29-H: $300 NLHE [Progressive KO, Thursday Thrill SE] with a $40K guarantee that got cleared pretty easily with a prize pool north of $64K.
The final table of the Thursday Thrill event was simply dominated from start to finish by “hashtagmtglife.” They claimed six of the eight possible eliminations at the final table. As a result, they took home over three times the amount of money as anyone else, thanks to collecting over $11,000 in progressive bounties.
“hashtagmtglife” started the final table second in chips, and they claimed the first elimination of the final table when they busted “outaahere” in ninth place. “Outaahere” got their final chips in after the flop with a flush draw, straight draw, and over cards, but none of them would come through, sending them home in ninth.
Next, there was a double elimination, with “hashtagmtglife” once again doing the dirty work. This time, their pocket queens held up in a three way all in against the jacks of “49642”, and ace-king of “CancelChristmas.”
“hashtagmtglife” kept their winning ways going with another knockout, this time of “Paulie_Card$” in sixth place. The latter was in great shape to double up preflop, but by the river, “hashtagmtglife” had made quads queens to claim yet another bounty.
Next, it was time for “MrMonkeyJones” to join the knockout action. They would have to come from behind, as their caught up with the ace-nine of “jeroh07” after flopping a pair of fours. No nine would come from there, getting play down to just four handed.
Fourth place would end up belonging to “StormRider7777”, busting with ace-queen to the pocket kings of “ChrundleTheGr8.”
The “hashtagmtglife” show continued from there however. First, they would once again come from behind, when their ace-eight bested the ace-ten of “MrMonkeyJones.”
“hashtagmtglife” began heads up play with a massive lead, and it only took a few hands for them to close it out in dramatic fashion. “ChrundleTheGr8” was all but guaranteed a key double up when they got their final chips in the middle with a set of sevens on the turn, but “hashtagmtglife” managed to hit their four-out straight draw to claim the final bounty of the event.
Still, it continued a successful series for “ChrundleTheGr8” as they added the second-place finish to two first-place wins from previous events.
2021 PASCOOP Event 29-H Final Table Results

Additionally, a pot-limit Omaha hi-low event was held at buy-ins of $100, $30 and $10 with guarantees of $10,000, $4,000 and $1,500, respectively.
It would be “wnunley” atop a three-way chop in the High with “Kiteman27” and “Doozie3” also in on the deal. The former two got just a bit under $2,100 while the latter took home $1,268. The prolific Barrett “AndrewYang2020” Lipkin just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish.

In the Medium, “mushmountain” got through the 206-entry field to win $1,104. PokerStars PA ambassador Mark “NaigoPA” Foresta, meanwhile, came in fifth for $304.

Then, it’s a round of mixed-game action with H.O.R.S.E. There’s a $100 High with $8K guaranteed, $30 Medium with $4K and a $10 Low with $1.5K.
