The long-term agreement between the two firms, which was originally inked in October 2020, has powered the launch of the new online casino, operating under the name, “Slotbox,” by way of GiG’s iGaming platform and omnichannel solution, marking a “significant milestone” for the Dublin-based group and a “first step” in its digital transformation.
Commenting on the launch, Director for Slotbox, Conor O’Donnell, stated in GiG’s press release that they are…
“really pleased” to see stage 1 of the project some to fruition. And that “everyone involved has worked hard to create an offering that will deliver a first-class gaming experience for our customers.”
“We are particularly excited about the roll out of the omnichannel features which will provide a seamless experience for our players,” O’Donnell added.
Thanks to the tech company’s frontend framework, Slotbox players will be able to enjoy a competitive online experience during their time on the site that boasts a “unique look and feel.” Additionally, players across all channels will benefit from a dual registration function that enables a single seamless sign-up process. Another feature, a shared loyalty system, gives users the opportunity to earn online loyalty points and coins whether they’re playing offline or on.
