New multi-year partnership
Bally’s Corporation and Major League Baseball (MLB) have officially signed a multi-year partnership agreement making Bally’s an Authorized Gaming Operator of the professional sports league.
Bally’s is now teamed up with three major sports leagues in the US
The deal comes shortly after the gaming company signed similar agreements with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Bally’s is now teamed up with three major sports leagues in the US, leaving only the National Football League (NFL) should the company try to run the gamut.
Details of the authorized gaming operator agreement
Bally’s has access to official MLB league data, marks, and logos thanks to the new deal. The company plans to include these elements within its portfolio of sports betting products, including new content exclusively created for baseball fans. It will integrate the content within live MLB game coverage on 19 regional sports networks.
Bally’s can provide network coverage because of an agreement with the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Signed in 2020, the deal gives Bally’s the right to use its brand on 21 FOX regional sports networks.
President and chief executive officer of Bally’s Corporation George Papanier commented on the agreement, stating it benefits baseball fans across the country. The company, he said, “looks forward to providing an innovative and engaging sports betting experience.”
The agreement will also see Bally’s and MLB work together to ensure the integrity of league games.
Opening day is April 1, so fans will quickly have access to MLB content via Bally’s as the new season begins.
NBA and NHL deals
Earlier this month, Bally’s announced a new deal with the NBA. Like the MLB deal, the company is an official Authorized Sports Betting Operator for the basketball league. The deal includes the use of official logos and marks, which Bally’s will use in its sports betting products.
Bally’s has plans to create creative and engaging sports betting products and services for NBA fans throughout the United States.
Back in February, the gaming company signed a partnership agreement with the NHL. This was the first sports betting partnership with a major professional sports league for Bally’s, opening the door for the company to sign additional deals this year.
Both the NBA and NHL deals include broadcast coverage across regional US sports networks through the Sinclair Broadcast Group partnership.
