A three-month-old girl being pushed in her stroller was killed in a hit-and-run in Brooklyn that also left her mother in critical condition and three others injured Saturday evening.

At around 6:20 p.m., police and law-enforcement sources said the driver was going the wrong way, first T-boning a black 2020 Honda Civic at the intersection of Gates and Vanderbilt Avenues in Clinton Hill.

The driver was injured, along with a 49-year-old woman, according to the NYPD.

A 39-year-old man was also injured in the chaos.

According to a witness nearby, the baby was sent flying 15 to 20 feet. She was taken to Brooklyn Hospital in critical condition, where she died of her injuries.

Her mother is undergoing surgery at Methodist Hospital where she remains in critical condition. 

NYPD said the driver of the black Honda is also being treated at the same hospital for less severe injuries.  

According to police, the male pedestrian is being treated at Brooklyn Hospital, and is expected to recover. 

The driver who caused the incident, was in 2017 silver Honda Civic and fled the scene on foot. An 29-year-old male passenger in the car also tried to run off before officers caught him.

The witness, who declined to give his name, told the New York Post he saw the silver Honda ‘speeding’ and ‘almost hit some bikers’ a few blocks away.

The driver then slammed into the black car, hitting the family – ‘a husband, baby and mother,’ according to the witness.

‘They went flying,’ said the man, adding that he called 911 after the horrific incident. 

Another witness, Jonathan Pettibone, told the Post that he saw the driver going ‘very erratically and very fast’ in the  wrong direction . 

He said he walked to the site and saw the aftermath of the tragedy.  

‘I heard people screaming and came over here. I saw a man holding his baby and it was bleeding and a woman was on the ground,’ he told the Post.
