She’s rarely pictured in public and chooses to live her life out of the spotlight.
But Twin Peaks actress Lara Flynn Boyle was pictured on a rare outing on Monday morning, the first time the actress has been seen in almost a year.
Boyle, 51, stopped by a wine and spirits store in Los Angeles to pick up a few things.

The nineties icon – who is married to real-estate investor Donald Ray Thomas II – was seen in some cuffed jeans and a padded red jacket.
She hopped out of her Mercedes and donned a face mask before entering the store with an empty backpack.
Boyle most recently starred in action drama Death in Texas alongside Bruce Dern and Stephen Lang. Filming took place in late 2019 and the movie premiered at the 14th Rockport Film Festival in Rockport, Texas, in November 2020.
Before that her most recent role was in Lucky Dog in 2015.

Boyle sparked concern among fans when in 2018 she was pictured drinking from a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label while in the driver’s seat of her car.
In the state of California, it is not only illegal for a driver to consume an alcoholic beverage while in a car – whether it is parked or not – but it is also illegal for a passenger to drink in a car. It’s called unlawful consumption.
Under the Liquor Licence Act, having an open liquor container in a vehicle, or liquor readily available to the driver (in the front seat) are offences.
In October 2017 Boyle gave a rare interview to The Hollywood Reporter as the #MeToo movement began to take off.

Asked if she was ever mistreated in her career, the actress replied: ‘Oh, all the time. All the time! It happens all the time,’
‘I looked at it on two levels: Do I want to flip burgers, or do I want to put up with someone not being appropriate with me? I chose the other side.
‘It still stays with you. You still remember things that were not quite appropriate, but you move on and that’s all you can do I guess.
‘I support all the actresses that have come forward.’

Born in Iowa, Lara moved to California to work as a child actress in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day off.
She then went on to appear in Amerika in 1987 then Dead Poets Society in 1989.
She became famous when she landed the role of Donna Hayward in Twin Peaks from 1990 until 1991.
In the 1990s she appeared in several movies including Threesome, Afterglow, then returned to TV with The Practice in 1997.
In 2002 she had luck in movies again opposite Will Smith in Men In Black II then went on to work in Huff.

Her love life has had its ups and downs. Boyle was in a relationship with Twin Peaks costar Kyle MacLachlan from 1990 to 1992.
She wed John Patrick Dee III in 1996, and divorced two years later.
Later, Boyle dated A Few Good Men actor Nicholson, who is 33 years her senior. They went public with their romance at the 1999 Emmys, and remained together until the end of 2000.
And she was linked to Just Shoot Me actor David Spade.
