Donald Trump has teased a 2024 presidential run in a new interview with Candace Owens

The former Commander-in-chief told the conservative commentator to ‘stay tuned’ when asked Tuesday night whether he would make another bid for the White House.

‘As you know, it’s very early,’ Trump stated during his phone interview with The Candace Owens Show, which was released on the Daily Wire website.

‘But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement.’

The ex-POTUS claimed campaign finance rules currently prevent him from making a declaration, but he stated: ‘I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time.’

Trump even joked that Owens could run as his Vice Presidential nominee.

‘What a good choice that would be,’ he cooed. ‘That would be fantastic. You would be fantastic!’

Elsewhere in Owens’ wide-ranging interview, Trump blasted the media for ravaging his wife, Melania, and admitted he took ‘great pleasure’ in seeing Mitt Romney booed off the stage at an event last week.

The interview, which was prerecorded, aired as Trump dined with Ted Cruz at Mar-a-Largo.

The Texas Sen. shared a snap to Twitter which showed himself sitting alongside the former President inside the Florida resort.

‘Had a great dinner tonight with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago. He’s in great spirits! We spent the evening talking about working together to re-take the House & Senate in 2022,’ Cruz captioned.
