Timothee Chalamet looks perfectly at ease in a cluttered throwback photo from his younger days

Timothée Chalamet certainly knows a good Throwback Thursday post.

The 25-year-old actor shared an epic snap from his childhood this week, revealing his messy bedroom years before he found fame as a Hollywood actor.

The Call Me By Your Name star also wrote a brief message in the post’s caption which appeared to be making fun of his vacant stare, which read: ‘HEY. U THERE.’

Chalamet kept it casual in the shot, as he sported a white striped t-shirt while hanging out with his pals, which is not too disimilar to how he dresses now.

Just last week, the actor was seen in very casual attire while attending the Cannes Film Festival.

The performer also provided two closer-up shots, the first of which was centered on his entire frame and the other being a very tight shot of just his face.

Many of the Lady Bird actor’s fans reacted with joy in the comments section, with some referring to him as ‘Timmy.’

Chalamet’s post comes on the same day as the release of the most recent trailer for the upcoming science-fiction epic film Dune.

The actor portrays the feature’s lead character, Paul Atreides, the son of a duke who is whisked away to a dangerous planet and discovers that he has superhuman abilities.

The forthcoming flick features a sizable ensemble cast, which will be led by Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson, who will portray Duke Leto Atreides and his concubine, Lady Jessica.

Other performers who will appear in the movie include Zendaya, Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, among several others.

Development on the soon-to-be-released version of the feature began in 2016 when director Denis Villeneuve expressed his desire to work on the project.

A previous adaptation of the novel, which was helmed by David Lynch, had been released in 1984, and a miniseries made its debut on the SciFi Channel in 2000.

The current feature’s director collaborated on the project’s script alongside John Spahits and Eric Roth.

Production on the feature initially began in March of 2019, with filming taking place in locations such as Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Norway.

Dune was originally set to be released last November, although it was later pushed to the following month.

Following the onset of the global pandemic, its wide debut was further delayed to October, although it will premiere at the upcoming 78th Venice International Film Festival.

The feature’s first trailer was made available to the public last September, and a more in-depth featurette was released on Thursday.

The film will also be made available for streaming on the HBO Max service in the first 30 days after its debut.

Much of the film’s crew, including its 53-year-old director, expressed displeasure over the move, citing the possibility that the feature will not turn a profit with the current release strategy.

Dune is currently scheduled to be made available to the public on October 22nd.

A second film that will cover the second half of the novel is currently being developed, although it has not been greenlit as of yet.

A spinoff series entitled Dune: The Sisterhood is also being worked on, and it is expected to be released on the HBO Max streaming service in the future.
