Sonia Kruger reveals what she REALLY thinks about Rita Ora on The Voice Australia’s ‘superstar’ coaching line-up

Sonia Kruger has revealed her thoughts on Rita Ora after the British pop star joined The Voice this year. 

In an interview with The West Live on Thursday, the 55-year-old Voice host was clearly besotted with the Anywhere singer. 

‘She’s talented, she’s intelligent, she is divine to look at. There were times on stage where I found myself just weirdly staring at her in a slightly stalker-ish manner,’ Sonia said.

Speaking about the 30-year-old, she added: ‘She’s also been through everything that our artists are going through.’

Sonia also spoke about the other coaches, including Keith Urban, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy during the interview. 

‘We reserve “superstar” for the coaches because I think they are without a doubt this year such an incredible line-up. The talent is next level,’ she said.

The veteran TV presenter also called Guy, 39, a ‘triple threat’ and said Jessica, 32, is a ‘ray of sunshine’.

Meanwhile, she referred to Keith, 53, as one of her ‘favourite human beings’. 

Sonia claimed the four judges have been the ‘heart and soul’ of the Channel Seven series, which has been enjoying record TV ratings week-on-week.

The talent show amassed a huge 1.108 million metro viewers on Tuesday night, outpacing all of Nine’s news bulletins. 

Meanwhile, 1.113 million metro viewers were recorded on Monday night, outpacing Nine’s 6:30pm news broadcast. 

The strong TV ratings from the series have consistently pushed Seven to the number one TV network on Australian free-to-air television.
