The Veronicas fly Qantas despite an ongoing feud with the airline

The Veronicas step off a Qantas flight in matching outfits just days after slamming the airline onstage amid their two-year feud

The Veronicas made headlines this month when they took a stab at Qantas airlines live on-stage, two year after they were kicked off a domestic flight amid a confusing cabin baggage dispute.

But Lisa and Jessica Origliasso’s long-running feud with Qantas didn’t stop them from catching a flight with the airline as they jetted to Adelaide on Sunday ahead of a performance.

After disembarking their Qantas aircraft, the 32-year-old pop duo were pictured making their way through the arrivals terminal dressed in matching outfits.

Hmm: The Veronicas’ Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, 32, (pictured) were spotted  jetting into Adelaide on a Qantas flight on Sunday afternoon – just days after publicly slamming the airline amid their two-year feud

The Hook Me Up singers wore near identical sweaters, trousers and styled their look with matching face masks and sunglasses.

The twins were seen carrying checked jackets in black-and-brown as they made their way through the crowd.

Lisa paired her look with tan boots, while Jess opted for a pair of black sneakers.

While their decision to fly Qantas may come to a surprise to many, Daily Mail Australia understands that they didn’t have much choice.

Flying QF884 from Perth to Adelaide and landing at 2.23pm would ensure that they had sufficient time to land, travel to their hotel and make it in time for sound check.

The first available Virgin Australia flight wouldn’t have landed until 4.50pm, making it almost impossible to have enough time for travel before the concert started.

Their decision to fly Qantas comes just days after they took a dig at the airline while performing on-stage in Brisbane.

before performing their hit song Revenge Is Sweeter (Than You Ever Were), Lisa told the crowd: ‘I would probably try and dedicate it to Qantas Airlines and talk some s**t on that but guess what? We have a new enemy.’

‘So this one goes out to Celebrity Apprentice,’ she concluded, referring to The Veronicas’ recent feud with the Channel Nine reality show over their negative portrayal.

In 2019, the pop duo were escorted off a Sydney to Brisbane flight after Qantas claimed they ‘were disruptive and refused to follow crew instructions’.

The identical twin sisters countered that they were unable to adjust their bags in an overhead locker and asked for help from Qantas staff.

However they claim they were told cabin crew weren’t allowed to touch customers’ bags and so were assisted by a fellow passenger instead.

At the time, Jess and Lisa tweeted that ‘the police were called because we asked for the crew’s names, and instead of giving them to us, they told us they were calling ‘security’. We had no idea what was going on.’

They were subsequently reinstated on a later flight.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out for comment from The Veronicas.
