The Block’s Mitch Edwards tells judges to go ‘f**k themselves’ as he STORMS OFF with Mark McKie

The Block’s Mitch Edwards tells the judges to go ‘f**k themselves’ as he STORMS OFF the set with Mark McKie after their kitchen layout was branded ‘really dumb’ and ‘insane’ at the reveal

The Block’s Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie have been particularly vocal in revealing what they really think of the judges’ criticisms throughout the season.

And on Sunday’s episode, Mitch was at his wits’ end when Neale Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer found fault in their kitchen not having a designated pantry.

After the design trio branded the layout ‘really dumb’ and ‘insane’ during the reveal with the pair opting for just a fridge and pantry ‘drawers’ for storage, Mitch stormed off the set and told them to ‘go f**k yourselves’ in an explosive piece to camera.

When host Scott Cam announced next week is the living and dining room reveals, Mark and Mitch stormed off set, having had enough of their disastrous critique.

Judges Neale, Shaynna and Darren thought it was a glaring oversight to have gone without a designated pantry, and instead relied on a fridge and drawers for storage.

‘I think the judges are not actually progressive enough to understand that pantries can be in drawers. So no, I don’t have a lot of need for the judges’ opinions anymore,’ Mark said in a piece to camera.

‘I’m supposed to listen to them? Yeah go f**k yourselves. I’m not interested in the feedback,’ Mitch quipped.

Neale agreed, saying that the couple have ‘major functionality issues here’ and that it’s a case of ‘style over substance’.

Mitch and Mark told host Scott that they weren’t going to listen to their feedback, as they ‘designed it [the kitchen] for the drawers’.

‘In a lot of modern living these days it’s actually more accessible [to have drawers acting as a pantry], so you’re not getting to the back of the cupboard. You pull the drawers out, you see everything,’ he said.

Mitch added in a piece to camera that their comments are ‘pretty stupid’.

‘I have no respect for the judges, so I shouldn’t let somebody hurt me who I had no respect for in the first place,’ he said.

The Block continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
