The Block’s Josh & Luke Packham want co-stars to take a lie detector test amid cheating scandal

The Block’s Josh and Luke Packham now want their co-stars to take a lie detector test following the fallout from the show’s cheating scandal

The Block twins Josh and Luke Packham have come out swinging at their co-stars as the fallout from the show’s cheating scandal continues.

The pair suggested this week that all the teams should take a lie detector test to get to the bottom of the scandal after they, alongside rivals Tanya and Vito Guccione, were blamed for the saga.

It comes after the boys and Tanya and Vito were each docked two points during the room reveals on Sunday for their involvement.

‘Several teams would be quite worried!’ The Block’s Josh and Luke Packham revealed this week that they want their co-stars to take a lie detector test as the fallout from the cheating scandal continues

Josh and Luke posted their idea for the lie detector test on Instagram this week.

‘Who thinks we should all do a lie detector test at the end of the series to really find out who knew what,’ they posted.

The cheating saga began when someone allegedly broke into Scott’s office and took a photo of a whiteboard which showed the series’ filming schedule – including the dates of each challenge, private tours and furniture consults.

Anyone who saw the photo would have the advantage of being able to plan their specifications weeks in advance or pre-order something for a specific room.

Ronnie and Georgia brought the scandal to light last week, confirming the Packhams twins Josh and Luke had previously shown them a photo of the schedule in question.

After suspicion initially pointed to Josh and Luke, Tanya finally confessed to producers she was the first person to see the photo.

In the aftermath of the leaked production schedule scandal, the Gucciones and the Packhams were each docked two points for the latest room reveal on Sunday.

This effectively ruled both teams out of winning the challenge.

During the episode, furious host Shelley Craft said: ‘I’m upset for all of you because this is not what The Block is about. [I’ve got] this ill feeling.’

When Vito protested that he was the victim, the interior design guru snapped: ‘Yeah but you were the cause of it, Vito!’

Meanwhile, Tanya and Vito claimed this week that they have received ‘death threats’ as a result of their involvement in the show’s cheating scandal.

‘Obviously we’re doing our best to stay offline but… there has been death threats,’ Tanya, 39, said on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa this week.

‘People are angry at the moment. They’re really upset; it’s an audience that are not happy in their lives and are in lockdown, and they take it out on me.’

The duo also confirmed the scandal was far from over – even hinting that more teams could be dragged into the drama in the coming weeks.
