This is the shocking moment an SUV driver knocked two thieves off their motorbike as they robbed a terrified couple in broad daylight.
It is believed that the men – who were sent flying in the collision – had attempted to rob the motorist minutes earlier.
The incident was caught on CCTV in the Campo Limpo area of the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo at around 2pm on October 2.

In the footage, the masked thieves on a motorbike are seen holding up a couple on the side of the road.
One of the thieves appears to point a gun at the victims as they raise their hands in the air.
In the background a white SUV enters the street, reportedly driven by someone the pair had tried to rob minutes earlier.
The pair attempt to flee the scene, but the SUV driver speeds up and swerves across the street towards them, before ramming their motorbike.
In the next scene, the two suspects, one with an apparently broken leg, scramble to their feet.
They get back on the motorbike and ride off.
According to the news site G1, one suspect was arrested after admitting himself to the Campo Limpo Hospital with a broken leg.

The two suspects, one believed to be seriously injured, scramble back onto the motorbike and ride off
The police also took a statement from the 32-year-old SUV driver, who was not named. He said the suspects had tried to rob him shortly before targeting the couple on the street.
He added that he saw the suspects in the road and tried to speed away from the scene, but he lost control and accelerated into the motorbike.
The police have confirmed that they are continuing to track down the second suspect as the investigation continues.
