Sean Hannity calls Biden’s press conference cue cards ’embarrassing’

FOX host Sean Hannity blasted Joe Biden‘s press conference as ’embarrassing’ and said the country needs to start asking ‘who is in charge’ at the White House because it ‘certainly’ isn’t him.

Biden, 78, relied on cue cards for his first press conference on Thursday. They contained talking points and headshots of the reporters he planned to call on for questions.

None of the reporters asked him about COVID-19, nor did they ask about tax hikes.

Hannity on his late-night show said the entire spectacle was worrying and that America’s ‘enemies are watching’.

‘It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Despite weeks of preparation, even fake news CNN admits it, cheat sheets with 14 point font and a compliant media mob lobbing one soft ball question after another…

‘The frail, the weak, the cognitively struggling commander-in-chief, or is he, did not do well today, to say the least,’ Hannity said.

He showed a clip of some of Biden’s comments during the press conference, saying: ‘His long rambling answers, his confusion… he became dazed and confused. He just stopped mid-sentence, stared into space. Stared into the distance.

‘This is your president.’

Hannity went on: ‘Our enemies are watching, this is embarrassing.

‘Have you ever seen an American president rely on a book of cheat sheets before? To ever answer a simple question at a press conference? It is pathetic. It’s embarrassing.

‘And let’s be clear, the compliant media mob wasn’t exactly throwing Joe any tough curve balls. They were incredibly polite and kind.

‘A competent president should not need to prep for days on end to answer a few simple questions. This is the hardest job in the world. A commanding, 24/7 job.

‘Ask yourself, is Joe, in your view—the American people—up to the job, to perform well even in a press conference?

‘After practicing for days, what is he capable of doing? Anything?

‘Because honestly, we really need to ask who is running the show at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? Is it Vice President Harris? Is it Chief of Staff Ron Klain? Is it Schumer? Is it Pelosi? Is Barack Obama? Is it Susan Rice?

‘Because it’s certainly not the frail, the weak, and the cognitively struggling guy we all witnessed today.

‘If Joe Biden is not capable of doing the job, he shouldn’t be in the job. So much is at stake. And our enemies are watching.’

Trump called in to FOX after watching the press conference from home. He lambasted the press for their ‘soft ball questions’.

FOX News reporter Peter Doocy called out Biden for not taking any questions from him at the press conference, saying he had ‘a binder full of questions’ to put to the president.

‘We had a lot and most of the stuff we did not get to,’ Doocy remarked on-air after the press conference.

‘Nobody asked him about this big plan that he has got, this big idea to completely transform the economy to make it all green,’ Doocy continued.

‘That is something we were hoping to get on the board with and there were not a lot of questions about Covid, particularly the investigation into the origins of it,’ he added.

Later in the show, Hannity ripped Seth Meyers and branded him a ‘hypocritical a******’ after the Late Night host called him a ‘sociopath’ sparking a feud between the TV hosts.

‘You want to call me sociopathic, which you have called many others before, like Trump and Karl Rove. You use the word a lot,’ Hannity said on Thursday.

‘But you are just another limousine liberal socialist, hypocritical a****** who does nothing but spew anti-GOP hate and has virtually nothing positive or productive to add to any political dialogue.’
