Just two weeks after a professional hockey player’s wife accused him of having an affair with a Los Angeles model, the two were seen together entering a nightclub in the Californian city.
In exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com, Evander Kane, a forward for the San Jose Sharks, could be seen driving Mara Teigen in his luxurious car as the two left Craig’s, a fancy restaurant known for its celebrity sightings, in West Hollywood.
It is the first time the two have been seen together since Evander’s estranged wife, Anna, publicly accused him of cheating. Recent reports say Evander only started dating Teigen again after filing for divorce from Anna on July 16.
Evander, 28, and Teigen, 26, started dating in 2014, before his marriage to Anna, when the Canadian began his hockey career with the Winnipeg Jets. Their first date was a Knicks-Bulls game at Madison Square Garden
In 2015, while Evander was still with the Buffalo Sabres, he tried to win Teigen back by paying for a billboard ad with her headshot above 1 Oak, a trendy Los Angeles club.

Evander reportedly married Anna in 2018, and have a daughter, Kensington Ava, who was born in July 2020.
Anna has since revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in 2019, and is now pregnant with their second child, a boy.
In a series of explosive Instagram posts last month, she claimed Evander intentionally threw hockey games while leaving the family destitute and unable to buy baby formula for their infant daughter.
She also took aim at Teigen, who has been dubbed ‘Angelina 2.0’ for her uncanny resemblance to Angelina Jolie, asking her in direct messages how she could be with him after he reportedly cheated on her.
Evander later released a statement on social media categorically denying Anna’s allegations. He accused her of fabricating the betting allegations in an attempt to destroy his career and said she was using Kensington as ‘leverage’ while restricting his access to her.
He did not, however, address the reports that he was dating Teigen.

Anna Kane made the allegations in a series of explosive posts on Instagram. The post on the left tags Mara Teigen, accusing her of being Evander’s mistress. The post on the right is a screenshot of an email that Anna claims Evander sent her telling her to move out of their home
In one of the posts, Anna actually tagged Teigen, writing: ‘So do u feel good about yourself f*****g my husband when I’m at home pregnant and he can’t even give me money to buy my daughter formula?
‘Do you feel amazing with him? After he cheated on you so much that you broke up now you can do this to another woman?’
Anna added in her post: ‘Crazy he said how ugly you were and how much surgery you had…And how you had old rich sugar daddies while you were together?
‘He cheated on you so much and you back to him? I’m shocked.’
Anna also dropped another bombshell, writing: ‘How does the NHL let a compulsive gambling addict still play when he’s obviously throwing games to win money? Hmm maybe someone needs to address this.’
‘Can someone ask (Commissioner) Gary Bettman how they let a player gamble on his own games? Bet and win with bookies on his own games?’
She also claimed that she was forced to sell her wedding ring in order to buy formula for their baby while Evander allegedly partied in Europe, and that her spouse’s alleged gambling addiction led to her and her daughter being kicked out of her own home.
She posted a message on Instagram that included a screenshot of an email she claims to have received from Evander.
‘Good morning, as we have discussed recently I will be coming to see [infant daughter] Kensington on august 8th and 9th as agreed,’ the email purportedly from Evander reads.
‘There will be no change in that plan. Also I please ask you to leave a house key to the Richland Property when you move out in the next day or two under the mat at front door as the Relator [sic] who is selling the property needs access to show it.
‘Also please leave the keys to my green g wagon in the house and have the car parked in the garage when you leave.
‘Thanks for your cooperation in advance,
Anna commented on the email, writing: ‘What a guy. This is when the addiction is more important then [sic] anyone and everything.
‘My heart goes out to anyone who has to deal with loved ones addicted to anything in any form who put that before their own family.’
Anna also claimed in Instagram posts that Evander has a gambling addiction and was purposely throwing games for the San Jose Sharks, saying she once had to sell her wedding ring to buy baby formula for their daughter

Shortly after Anna’s posts went viral, the NHL said in a statement it had been made aware of them, and had opened a probe.
‘The integrity of our game is paramount and the League takes these allegations very seriously. We intend to conduct a full investigation and will have no further comment at this time.’
Evander, though, has denied the claims, writing in his own post the next day: ‘Unfortunately I would like to address the completely FALSE accusations that my estranged wife and soon to be ex wife has made against me. Even against the advice of my legal team I feel strongly that the public and fans hear this directly from me.
‘I have NEVER gambled/bet on Hockey, NEVER gambled/bet on a Sharks game, NEVER gambled/bet on any of my games and NEVER thrown a hockey game.
‘The facts are I personally had my best season of my career last year and was the most consistent I’ve been throughout any season, I’m proud of that.
‘I love the game of Hockey and would never do any of what was alleged.
‘I look forward to cooperating fully with the league’s investigation, having my name clear and looking forward to this upcoming season.’
He also denied his wife’s claims that he is a deadbeat father who doesn’t provide for his infant daughter.
‘I love my daughter,’ he said in his statement. ‘I will and always have taken care of my daughter in every way possible.
‘I have always made sure her mother has had everything she’s needed and more.
‘I have tried to de-escalate our divorce issues and be as civil and calm as anyone in this position could.
‘I have tried to set up FaceTime calls and visits with her.
‘I have had some FaceTime calls but not every day as I would like to because of being restricted by her mom.
‘She has refused me to see her and has unfortunately tried to use my daughter as leverage.
‘I will continue to always take care of my family that goes without question.’
Evander’s statement continued: ‘I would encourage people to realize that someone who goes to this length to try and jeopardize someone’s career with lies is mentally unwell.
‘I hope this is the last time I will be publicly addressing any further misrepresentations of me as a father.’
He did not respond to the allegations that he was seeing Teigen, however.
Evander Kane vehemently denied the allegations in a statement released on Sunday. He also denied his wife’s claims that he is a deadbeat father who doesn’t provide for his infant daughter
Evander is now entering the fourth season of a seven-year, $49 million deal with the San Jose Sharks
But Evander, who is now entering the fourth season of a seven-year, $49 million deal, is no stranger to controversy.
In January, he filed for bankruptcy despite making $3 million in 2020 and more than $50 million in his career.
He was also sued in 2019 by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas strip casino for an alleged $500,000 gambling debt which piled up during an NHL playoff series, CBS reported.
In 2018, Evander was the subject of a $6 million lawsuit filed by an ex-girlfriend who says he forced her to end two pregnancies and reneged on promises to pay for them.
The unidentified woman says she became pregnant by Evander three times in total, but that while the first abortion was agreed to by mutual consent, the second and third were imposed on her by the hockey player.
The lawsuit says that Evander promised to pay her $3 million to end the third pregnancy while they were still a couple, but failed to do so.
The woman claims that she started dating Evander in 2015, the year he switched from the Winnipeg Jets to the Buffalo Sabres. He joined San Jose in February of this 2018.
The $6 million sum named in the lawsuit is made up of the $3 million she claims she was promised for the abortion procedure, plus an additional $3 million for ‘intentional infliction of emotional distress’.
Evander has said that the lawsuit was ‘a bunch of B.S’, calling the allegations ‘baseless’ and a ‘dead issue.’
‘Anybody can say anything they want nowadays,’ he said. ‘I’m not really going to talk about it further, because it’s not going to help me, it’s not going to do any good.’
In 2016, Rachel Kuechle, a 21-year-old Buffalo woman, also sued the then-Sabres forward, saying he seriously injured her in the hotel room where he lives.
Her lawyers claimed she suffered from ‘serious emotional trauma’ and ‘serious, permanent and painful personal injuries’ after Evander invited her to a party, describing his actions as ‘unwanted, unconsented to, violent and offensive in nature physical battery,’ according to court papers.
He was cleared in March 2016 of any wrongdoing in that case, but soon faced non-criminal harassment, disorderly conduct and trespass stemming from an unrelated incident at a bar on June 24, 2016.
In that case, Evander is accused of grabbing three women inside Bottoms Up, a Buffalo nightclub. A male bar employee said he also had a run-in with the NHL player.
Paul Cambria, Evander’s lawyer, said those allegations were ‘extremely exaggerated’ and his client ‘denies strenuously any wrongdoing.’
