Pete Davidson explains falling off SNL stage with Machine Gun Kelly while promoting 9/11 special

Pete Davidson explained how he fell off the Saturday Night Live stage with Machine Gun Kelly on Wednesday during a talk show visit.

The 27-year-old comedian during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was asked for the ‘real story’ behind their tumble in January 2021 when MGK, 31, performed on the NBC sketch comedy show.

‘So Colton, or as you may know him Machine Gun Kelly, he bruised his coccyx that week,’ Pete said referencing the singer whose real name is Colson Baker.

‘If you don’t know what a coccyx is, it’s the bone in your ass,’ he also explained.

Pete said he thought MGK was joking at first but the bone bruise was real.

‘So he couldn’t like walk or sit. And he had like a tushy pillow as well. It was just really cool to see like the most gangster thug dude I know, just like put a little tushy pillow down to sit,’ Pete quipped.

‘Yeah, just like Megan Fox is right there and he’s sitting on his little tushy pillow,’ he added, referencing MGK’s girlfriend.

Pete said that MGK told him that he wanted to do something ‘silly’ at the end of the show.

‘And I was like, “Or, you know, you could just enjoy the moment and clap.” He was like, “No, we’ll think of something, I’m going to pick you up.” I was like, ”I don’t know if you should do that it’s a crowded stage. We should just clap.” And he’s like, “Yeah, yeah, you’re right”,’ Pete said.

‘And he got really excited and he went to pick me up. And he forgot that he had a bruised coccyx. So he like went to pick me up, and then, he couldn’t go up, so he just started to slowly tilt back and he went, “Oh, no.” And it was such a slow fall, we had time for him to go, “Oh, no,” and I went, “You’re a f***ing moron”,’ Pete revealed.
