Perrie Edwards reveals she and Leigh-Anne Pinnock discovered they were pregnant together on Zoom

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards details the moment she revealed her pregnancy to expectant mum Leigh-Anne Pinnock on a ‘work Zoom call’… and insists their joint baby news ‘was NOT planned’

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards revealed she announced her pregnancy in tandem with her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock on ‘a work Zoom call’.

During a TikTok interview to plug their new single with David Guetta, Perrie, 27, explained she and Leigh-Anne, 29, ‘cried our eyes out’ upon discovering the news, gushing: ‘What timing!’ and insisted their joint pregnancy ‘wasn’t planned’.

The sweet moment unfolded after Little Mix were going through their work schedule – with Perrie noting the band is booked up two years in advance, which led to their manager discovering the happy news.

Clearly delighted, Perrie detailed: ‘We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance…

‘I was thinking, “I won’t be able to do that.” I messaged my manager and she called me and said, “You’re pregnant”…

‘Then she said: “Can I add someone to the call?” ‘I just heard this voice that said: “Perrie! You too!” And then we just cried our eyes out. What timing!’

The pair also shared their odd pregnancy cravings.

‘Prawn sandwiches but the M&S kind and Frazzles,’ revealed Leigh-Anne.

Perrie added: ‘Mine is Toxic Waste, you know the barrel. All I wanted was sour. But I loved it. Brain lickers, juicy drop pops – anything sour. That was when I was feeling really sick but I feel fine now.’

Perrie – who is expecting her first child with her footballer beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – announced her pregnancy earlier in May.

The incredible news came just six days after Leigh-Anne and her footballer fiancé Andre Gray revealed that they are set to welcome a baby into the world.

It follows the news that Little Mix have become the UK’s top earning young female positions, after boosting their joined fortune by £6million over the past year, giving them a combined net worth of £54million.

Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade Thirlwall, 28, have pressed on as a trio this year, following the December departure of bandmate Jesy Nelson, 29, with whom they have reportedly severed financial ties.

And the Shout Out To My Ex hitmakers now have more cash to share among themselves as they climb their way up The Sunday Times newly-unveiled annual Rich List.

The news comes after it was reported by The Sun that Little Mix, who are with Sony, have formally cut financial ties with Jesy Nelson, following her exit from the group.

Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade are expected to rake in a whopping £5 million from their upcoming tour, but Jesy will lose out on the profit as she’ll no longer serve as a director at their joint business.

Had Jesy remained part of the business, Eternal Magic Touring, her situation would have been similar to that of Victoria Beckham, who earned a cool £1 million from the Spice Girls’ 2019 comeback tour, despite not stepping foot on stage.

However, Jesy is on the verge of raking in some of her own revenue, as she announced she’s signed a new solo record deal with esteemed label Polydor, following much speculation about her future.

The singer took to Instagram on Friday morning to share a snapshot of herself posing before the company’s logo as she shared the news with her followers.
