Patriots coach Steve Belichick sparked hilarity after he was captured sticking his tongue out and grimacing during a game broadcast Sunday night.
Belichick, 34, went viral after making a bunch of odd expressions during the Week 4 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots.
He was seen sticking his tongue out and then wagging it from side to side before making an open-mouth grimace to the camera.
The Patriots assistant coach is the son of head coach Bill Belichick, who was also seen about an hour before picking his teeth with a pencil.
The younger Belichick’s reactions, however, became the highlight of the night as memes and hysterical tweets were shared on social media.

Some noted that Belichick looked like he had a ‘hungry’ expression
‘Me staring into my fridge at 2am,’ Barstool Sports had jokingly tweeted.
‘Me when they say there is chicken wing dip in the kitchen,’ @partyyaddy02 replied.
Others joked that even Belichick did not even understand what was going on with his face.
‘When you finally don’t have to wear a mask after a year, but you forget to do with your face,’ @TraosLakeLife said.
One even suggested a sideline entertainment show for Belichick as his expressions were way too entertaining.

Steve Belichick joined the Patriots coaching staff in 2012 about a year after he attended Rutgers University where he played lacrosse and was the football team’s longtime snapper, according to The New York Post.
His father Bill has been the head coach of the team since 2000 where he has helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls and has won the NFL’s Coach of the Year award three times.
Bill’s son and Steve’s younger brother Brian coaches the team’s safeties.
The Buccaneers won the Sunday night game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts beating the Patriots with a score of 19-17.
Belichick’s team lost the game after a single field goal kick made by Nick Folk bounced against the post and into the end zone in the last few seconds of the game.
