Olly Murs has slammed vile trolls who made comments about his bodybuilder girlfriend Amelia looking ‘manly’.
The singer, 37, told The Sun that people began saying ‘nasty things’ about his girlfriend Amelia Tank after she was crowned the UK winner at the Pure Elite pro competition last month in Margate.
Olly shared pictures with Amelia celebrating her success and showcasing her incredible physique, but some people on social media soured the moment.

He said: ‘Unfortunately, the world we live in means people have a platform to say nasty things.
‘There must be an insecurity in them — they decide to be nasty because they know that they can never get a body like that.
‘But anyone looking at her photos and saying she looks too manly, I mean, what are they even seeing?’
Taking to Instagram to share her success last month, Olly wrote: ‘And still…. undefeated-champ. 6 months work, show postponed, lockdown to deal with and she went and bloody did it!

Amelia looked sensational as she proved hard work pays off and flaunted her rock solid abs in a plunging pink bikini.
Meanwhile, Olly cut a casual figure in a grey Commes des Garcons T-shirt and distressed light blue skinny jeans as he showed support from the audience.
Last October, Olly admitted he fears his relationship with girlfriend Amelia could come under strain as he heads off on tour following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Troublemaker hitmaker revealed last year he’s heading back on tour in 2021, and said the distance between him and Amelia could come as ‘a shock.’
Olly also revealed that he and Amelia moved in together during lockdown after first beginning their romance the year before.
Olly – who also revealed he’s heading back to the recording studio to work on new music – told The Sun: ‘Amelia says she can’t wait for me to go out to work.
‘But it’ll be a shock for us from a relationship perspective because she’s only known me to be at home, really, all the time…

‘If I’m going back on the road, getting back to work, TV work and stuff, it’s going to be crazy again and I don’t know what that will be like for us.’
Olly also praised his girlfriend for maintaining her independence after they moved in together in lockdown, as she insisted on paying her share of the bills.
In June, The Voice UK judge revealed he was already planning on marrying Amelia, saying on Sky’s Harry’s Home Fixtures: ‘Listen, if, when, I’m sure I’ll marry Amelia, when I get married all you guys are invited. 100 per cent.’
