Olivia Newton-John feels ‘very good’ amid ongoing breast cancer battle

She’s married to John Easterling, the founder of the Amazon Herb Company.

And Olivia Newton-John has credited her husband of 13 years with helping her manage the pain associated with her cancer battle.

‘My husband makes me tinctures that help me immensely with pain, inflammation, sleep and anxiety,’ the singer-songwriter, 72, said in an interview with Closer.

‘I’d like to research all that and find out what else is going on because I feel good,’ added the Grease star.

She married John, a former ‘treasure hunter’ has no formal medical training, in 2008.

Olivia also revealed she takes ‘a lot of herbs’ for her breast cancer, which she was first diagnosed with in 1992, in addition to conventional treatments like radiation.

‘Over the last 10 years, I’ve used cannabis,’ added the mother of one, whose cancer has returned twice over the years, eventually spreading to her bones in 2017.

‘I’ve also been eating vegan because my daughter [Chloe Lattanzi] was visiting me and she’s a vegan. I feel very good.’

Her daughter Chloe, an anti-vaxxer and Covid conspiracy theorist, recently claimed ‘plant medicine’ was healing her famous mum.

‘The planet is awakening,’ she wrote on Instagram last month.

‘I know the power of plant medicine. I watch it heal my mother every day. I also know how much Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know about it.

‘And my family also knows how many plant medicine healers have been killed because they found the plant based remedy to an “incurable” disease.’

‘There’s no more time left for silence. Or fear. The medicine is all around you.’

The Big Pharma conspiracy adheres to the false belief that the medical industry conceals or suppresses effective treatments and alternative medicines for ill patients, usually for financial gain.

Chloe is also wrong to say plants ‘cured’ her mother’s cancer, as Olivia has received medical treatment such as radiation and only uses cannabis to manage pain.

It’s not the first time Chloe has shared conspiracy theories and strange content.

In April, the Sharknado 5 posted about her belief in extraterrestrials, and in January expressed unscientific anti-vaxxer views in an interview with the Herald Sun

She also recently asserted that Instagram had shadow-banned her.

‘Shadow-banning’ refers to when a person’s social media account is made less visible as punishment for sharing dangerous, false or misleading content.

She made the claim after sharing a text message from a friend informing her they ‘can’t view’ her Instagram Story.

Chloe, who has no medical qualifications and runs a cannabis farm in Oregon with her fiancé, captioned the post: ‘Wonder why I keep getting shadow-banned?’
