Nick Cannon has fathered four children with three different women since last December, including twin boys with Abby De La Rosa.
And now, more than two-months since giving birth, the international DJ and entrepreneur, is sharing the details of how she and Cannon became parents to sons Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir.
During a Q&A on her Instagram Stories on Friday, De La Rosa revealed the idea of having a child together ‘was something [her and Nick] were manifesting’, and that the twins were actually the result of her second pregnancy in 2020.
De La Rosa said she first learned that she was expecting in April 2020, but lost the pregnancy.
Just six months later, on her 30th birthday in October of last year, De La Rosa found out she was pregnant again with Cannon.
When asked by a fan during the online chat if the pregnancy was planned, De La Rosa had two different answers.
‘First pregnancy, April 2020, was definitely not planned, but Nick was such a great friend to me and just so good to me, and then our focus became to have a baby,’ she confessed before noting that ‘little did we know we would end up having twins. But yes, it [the second pregnancy] was planned.’
She went on to elaborate that they never sat down with a calendar and planned out, “You gotta be pregnant by this date.”
‘It had already been a thought and it happened,’ she told the fan. ‘It had already been out there, it was something we were manifesting and we were just letting it flow.’

Open book: De La Rosa revealed her first pregnancy in April 2020 was not planned but the second with Nick Cannon in October was planned, during a Q-and-A on Instagram on Friday
As the Q-and-A unfolded, De La Rosa confessed she would like to have more children in the future ‘if Gold permits.’
‘And if God doesn’t permit, it’s alright. I got two-for-one, it was a beautiful journey.’
Revealing they had ‘crossed paths numerous times throughout the years’, De La Rosa said she and Cannon ‘officially connected’ in 2019 after a brand she worked for was collaborating with his Ncredible Entertainment production company.
‘I have my own radio show at the rival radio station in which he worked at, and he was there doing an interview and I was there in the studio doing an interview as well, and that’s when he said he saw me,’ the first-time mother explained of their relationship.
They would end up welcoming their twin boys on June 14, and would share the news on Instagram two days later.
‘JUNE 14TH, 2021 Welcome to the world Zion Mixolydian Cannon & Zillion Heir Cannon,’ she wrote alongside of video of herself cradling her boys while laying in a hospital bed.

And then, just nine days after welcoming twins, Cannon became a father to his seventh child, a son named Zen, with model Alyssa Scott.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club last month, host Charlamagne tha God asked Cannon about fatherhood, and the idea of being critiqued for having seven kids with four different women.
‘Why do people question it? That’s a eurocentric concept when you think about the ideas… that you’re supposed to have this one person for the rest of your life,’ the singer and television personality, 40, replied.
‘The idea that a man should have one woman… we shouldn’t have anything. I have no ownership over this person. It’s about what exchange we can create together. So, I’ve never really subscribed to that mentality. I understand the institution of marriage but if we go back to what that’s about, that was to classify property.
He added, ‘One father gave another man his daughter for land. I don’t want ownership over anybody. I don’t have ownership over any of the mothers. We created a beautiful entity.’
Just last December, Cannon welcomed daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, whom he also shares four-year-old son Golden. The Nickelodeon alum is also dad to 10-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
