New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested late Thursday in his native Cleveland for allegedly being in possession of a stolen handgun. 

The 24-year-old was booked at Cuyohoga County Jail after being picked up by Cleveland police’s gang investigators. Lattimore has not been formally charged. 

He was arrested with three other men during a traffic stop after Cleveland Police discovered a loaded Glock 19 handgun in the vehicle, a CPD spokeswoman told DailyMail.com. 

Lattimore, a passenger in the car, was found to be in possession of his own loaded handgun, which was later found to be stolen out of nearby Euclid, Ohio. He was arrested for failing to notify police about his loaded weapon and for receiving stolen property.

The traffic stop took place at East 97th Street and Carr Avenue, which is in Glenville, a residential area of Cleveland abutting Interstate 90. 

Saints spokesmen did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment. 

Two other passengers, Kenyon Moon and Maurice Walton, were arrested for having weapons under disability, meaning they are not allowed to own firearms. The driver, 

Carl Willis, was arrested for improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle. He was originally pulled over for several infractions, including a broken taillight.
