Sad news: On Saturday night Nene Leakes, 53, felt compelled to share with patrons at her Atlanta lounge that her husband Greg Leakes, 66, is dying

‘My husband is transitioning to the other side,’ she said in a video shared by media outlet Onsite!

Turning to speak directly with the group that criticized her, she said, ‘You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business.’

She continued, ‘So, when people approach and say “you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday” — my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say ‘happy birthday.’

The woman who recorded the video could be heard sympathizing with Leakes as she spoke.
