Nadia Bartel’s father arrives at her Melbourne home to offer support – after footage of the AFL WAG breaking lockdown and ‘snorting cocaine’ at a party circulated on social media


Footage of Nadia Bartel ‘snorting cocaine’ off a plate at a party in Melbourne circulated on social media on Friday.

And in the aftermath, the former AFL WAG received a visit from her father – which is understood to have lasted 30 minutes – at her home in Melbourne. 

The 36-year-old went to ground on Friday, staying firmly inside her gated property as her dad, Mr Coppolino, parked his car outside.

He kept a low key figure wearing a black baseball cap and face mask, with a black hoodie and jeans.

Mr Coppolino swiftly made his way inside the property, just a reporter arrived to try and get comment from the fashion designer regarding the video.  

He was likely at her home to provide moral support to his daughter, following the release of the damning video.

The three second video of Bartel seemingly snorting white powder off a plate was accidently uploaded to Instagram by her friend and business partner Ellie Pearson.

It begins with the fashion and beauty influencer appearing to lean over the plate with a rolled-up banknote in her left nostril as she presses her right nostril.

She then snorted the substance as one of the women watches on.

Nadia has since issued an a post shared to Instagram on Friday afternoon, the AFL wag wrote: ‘Hi everyone, I have let you all down by my actions.

‘I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future. 

‘To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.

Bartel has turned off comments on her Instagram posts after the embarrassing video was leaked.

She has also updated her Instagram bio to remove any reference to her companies, Henne and Spray Aus, perhaps because they were being targeted by trolls.
