Minka Kelly, 41, joins already star-studded cast of HBO show Euphoria for season two
Minka Kelly will join the cast of the HBO show Euphoria for its second season.
The actress, 41, will play a ‘jaded, drugged out suburban housewife’ in the series according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The second season of the series was set to begin filming last year, but the COVID-19 pandemic postponed shooting. It began again earlier in 2021.

Derek Jeter’s ex won’t be the only new addition to the cast either. Indie singer Dominic Fike and rapper Lil Meech will also join the cast.
In an interview with Variety, Fike said he would join the cast as a ‘homie’ who hangs out with Rue and Jules, played by Zendaya and Hunter Schafer respectively.
Lil Meech will play a love interest for Alex Demie’s character, Maddy.

Kelly has had a number of roles in recent years. The model has a main role in the DC series Titans about the comic book team the Teen Titans and appeared in the Indie film She’s in Portland which came out last year.
Her most recent film, Lansky, came out in June of this year. The film follows notorious gangster Meyer Lansky as he is investigated by the federal government late in his life.
Kelly has had a bit of a tumultuous love life this year which included a brief split from her beau, comedian and host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah.
An insider told Entertainment Tonight, ‘Their feelings for each other never really went away and after taking some space, they realized they missed each other’.
