She regularly takes to social media to post inspiring body confidence and positivity content for her followers.

And Malin Andersson shared a candid topless post to Instagram on Tuesday as she revealed that she gained two stone in just over a year.

The Love Island star, 27, explained to her fans that she felt ‘sluggish’ and ‘lazy’ and that her weight gain was ‘a symptom’ of a ‘c**p few months’.

‘I hate scales’: Malin Andersson posed in a bra on Instagram on Tuesday as she revealed that she gained two stone in just over a year

Posing in her garden in a black sports bra and leggings, Malin wrote: ‘‼️‼️GUYS‼️‼️ I have to share with you that fact that I’ve gained a stone on top of the stone I gained last lockdown. HAHA!! That’s 2 stone in like a year and a bit..

‘I hate scales, but I bought some because I was like.. girl you need to check in. Luckily I’m not triggered anymore, but I stepped on them and I was like -…’

Gripping onto her tummy and frowning, she said: ‘You see with me I carry weight on my body mainly on my stomach so I can get away with not noticing it too much.. but I have had a crap few months and started to feel sluggish, lazy and definitely not as clear in my mind.

‘This isn’t a pic of a before or after, or different angles – this is literally me this morning after waking up. I’m here to show you why this sometimes happens – for me it’s a result of something deeper than just eating healthy and exercising.’

She continued: ‘I don’t sugar coat sh*t.. ever – but I thought I would share the fact that we are ALL human – ALL normal – and life throws us curveballs all the time.

‘The weight I’ve gained is the least of my problems considering my healing journey – it’s just a symptom of what’s been going on I guess. So this is an important reminder to look after all 3 –

‘YOUR MIND, BODY & SPIRIT!

‘Let all 3 align and see how beautiful your life flows. Don’t get me wrong it’s hard sometimes but I recognise straight away when something isn’t quite right with myself.

‘Don’t put ANY pressure on yourself either, ease yourself into a nice routine and know that change is gradual. These things are inevitable, body’s change – time changes people and if you don’t want to make a change that’s fine –

Malin recently opened up about suffering a miscarriage, two years after her daughter Consy’s tragic death.

The TV personality shared the heartbreaking news to Instagram, admitting while ‘my strength never ceases to amaze me sometimes, it pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy’.

The mental health campaigner lost her baby girl Consy from complications as a result of being born premature in January 2019, 14 months after her mother, Consy-Gloria, died of stomach cancer aged 65.

Brave Malin wrote alongside an image of two pregnancy tests: ‘Hi everyone, Obviously I have disappeared for a bit and I have had hundreds of messages from people asking if I am okay and sending me love.

‘I appreciate every single message and it means a lot that you all want to make sure I am okay. Sometimes I need to take time to deal with my life privately, as my life is so public, I needed to take time out.’

The media personality added: ‘The past few months haven’t been easy for me, but there is also something else I would like to address.

‘You all know that I am very transparent about taboo subjects, and I like to shed light on things that are often not spoken about and especially trauma I have experienced myself I found out I was pregnant – and I then soon after miscarried.

‘It pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy.. but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn’t discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even when you think you have gone through enough.

‘I’ll be fine – my strength never ceases to amaze me sometimes but I felt that I needed to share this with you all as I’ve never been one to hold anything back – especially when I know it can help someone else.’

Her daughter Consy, named after Malin’s late mother, was born seven weeks early and cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital since her premature birth.

Malin’s mum battled breast cancer twice since 2001, and the cancer spread for a third time before her death. Tragically, the TV star’s father died from skin cancer after battling the disease twice.
