Love Island viewers left RAGING as show ends on ANOTHER cliffhanger

‘You have GOT to be kidding!’ Love Island viewers left RAGING after waiting 48 hours to find out who new girl Rachel will dump… only for the show to end on ANOTHER cliffhanger

Love Island viewers settled down to watch the latest episode of the series on Sunday night, to find out who new girl Rachel was going to couple up with.

But they were left furious when the 75-minute episode drew to a close – leaving things on yet another frustrating cliffhanger.

With Unseen Bits aired on Saturday, fans had been left hanging for 48 hours, following Rachel’s bombshell arrival on Friday night, during which she was tasked with dumping either Brad or Chuggs from the villa.

Will she/won’t she (she won’t)! Love Island viewers were left RAGING on Sunday after waiting 48 hours to find out who new girl Rachel would dump… only for the show to end on ANOTHER cliffhanger

But they were none the wiser as Sunday’s show came to a close, just as Rachel was announcing her decision.

As one Twitter user pointed out, fans would have waited 72 hours in total for the result, which is presumably being revealed on Monday night’s show.

‘Sorry but why am i having to wait 72 hours from rachel’s entrance to find out who she picked when the poor girl herself only got 24?!’ came the tweet.

‘I am so over these cliffhangers. I could barely dredge up interest in the Brad / Chuggs choice first time around, we don’t need a repeat!’ one person posted.

Long-winded! Fans have been left hanging for 48 hours, following Rachel's bombshell arrival on Friday night, during which she was tasked with dumping either Brad or Chuggs from the villa

‘How can we wait till tomorrow? When we’ve been waiting since Friday? Is all ok with u @itv?’ someone else asked.

‘You have to be joking me ffs another cliff hanger really week one?!?’ someone else raged.

‘Contemplating if love island is even worth it anymore with all these cliff hangers!’ another defeated viewer penned.

‘Itv are getting too brave how can you put a cliffhanger TWO CONSECUTIVE TIMES IN A ROW!’ screamed another.

Another penned: ‘These cliffhangers are driving me mad. Why build up the whole episode to something but to not actually see it?’

Rachel – a luxury travel specialist from London – had been tasked with getting to know the two single men, before picking one to couple up with and thus keep in the competition.

She was seen across the episode struggling with who she should choose, admitting it wasn’t ‘easy’ to make a decision as she thinks they are both ‘amazing guys’.

As she prepared to give her decision, she explained: ‘This has not been easy in the slightest. I think you’re both amazing guys in every single way. I can’t fault either of you for absolutely anything.’

Earlier in the episode, Rachel admitted she wanted to get to know Chuggs more.

Speaking in the Beach Hut about how she felt, she said: ‘I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface. I don’t know anything about him. I want to get to know Chuggs.’

Whilst giving his verdict on her, Chuggs said: ‘She’s got this energetic strike in her. She hits you with this electricity. I can definitely see myself getting on with her so well.’

Brad also called Rachel for a chat and admitted she was his type.

He confessed to her: ‘That’s why I started laughing when I saw Jake looking at me. Jake said he couldn’t even see you and could tell you were my type because of my reaction.’

Elsewhere on the show, the Islanders were tasked with a challenge where the boys had to show off their hero status as they rescued their damsel in distress from a villain.

Rachel got rescued by both of her men – Chuggs and Brad – and likened it to James Bond.

Speaking after the challenge, she shared: ‘It was definitely 00 heaven for me because I had double the pleasure and double the happiness.’

Love Island continues at 9PM nightly on ITV2.
