Love Island SPOILER: Faye tells Teddy ‘there’s a lot of reasons not to trust him’ after vicious row

Sunday’s Love Island will see Faye and Teddy discuss their situation after she sensationally screamed at him and ended their romance on Friday night’s show.

In the latest instalment, the pair take to the terrace to speak about the outrageous scenes, which saw viewers complain to Ofcom over Faye’s ‘gaslighting’ behaviour, after she verbally abused him and gave him the finger.

Clearly still defiant – and unaware of the backlash on the outside world – Faye says: ‘I don’t trust people until they prove to me I can trust them. I’ve said that from day one and so far there’s a lot of reasons not to trust you. But you’re telling me to still trust you.’

Teddy says: ‘So what am I supposed to do? Just let you go? In your eyes, I’ve made a mistake, I get it. But to just be like ‘I’m done’, is what I’m struggling with.

‘I can’t swallow the pill, it doesn’t make sense to me.’

Faye says: ‘I’d rather be done, than hurt.’ To which Teddy replies: ‘So you think I’m genuinely going to hurt you?’

‘Teddy, you already have,’ she insists. Teddy asks: ‘What do you want?’

Faye was seen screaming at Teddy after hidden clips were aired to the villa that revealed the ‘sexual attraction’ comments Teddy made to former islander Clarisse.

And Love Island bosses have since responded to the slew of viewer complaints for allowing Faye’s ‘verbal abuse’.

A series spokesperson said in a statement to the Mirror: ‘Welfare and duty of care towards our contributors is always our primary concern, and we take the emotional well-being of all the Islanders extremely seriously.

‘We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera, especially if someone appears to be upset.

‘All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on-site and by their friends in the villa.’

One described Faye’s treatment of Teddy as ‘terrifying’ and questioned why producers allowed her antics to play out on screen.

‘Faye’s behaviour was terrifying and I’m not surprised the girls didn’t call her out on it. They were scared of her. Why did the producers allow this to continue?’ they said.

Others shared screenshots of their complaints made to the UK’s broadcast regulator Ofcom after watching the ‘horrendous’ scenes, and said ‘mental health needs to be taken seriously’.

During Friday’s episode, a heated Faye ended her romance with Teddy after the ‘sexual attraction’ comments he made to former islander Clarisse were shown on screen during the Movie Challenge.

‘Regardless of what was shown or said, I know my worth and this is done,’ she told the senior financial consultant, adding: ‘I’m glad that screen came out tonight, it tells me a lot about you.’

Trying to reason with Faye, Teddy said: ‘If you don’t want to believe that I give a s**t about you… I’m less p**sed off about what you saw, and I’m more p**sed off about the way that you’ve reacted.’

But Faye still refused to budge, and walked away from the conversation, adding: ‘I’m done with this conversation. If you wanna speak about my reaction based on your actions, you can f**k off. My reaction was only based on your f**king actions, so f**k off.’

Their sit-down chat came at the end of the episode, after Teddy had tried numerous times to talk to Faye, who first signalled to Teddy that she was upset straight after the challenge when she flipped him the bird.

‘Do you know how childish that is?’ Teddy told Faye, to which she fired back: ‘Do I look like I give a f**k?’

Teddy then tried to approach Faye while she was standing in the kitchen with other islanders, asking her: ‘Why am I getting a middle finger?’

‘Why are you talking to me?’ retorted Faye, adding: ‘I don’t want to speak to you because I’m being an adult and I don’t want to have a conversation right now.’

Approaching Faye for a second time minutes later, Teddy asked: ‘Are you done shouting?’ but Faye made it apparent she was still not ready to hear him out, saying: ‘If I was you I’d just keep walking Teddy, I have f**k all to say to you.’

Faye also butted heads with hairdresser Dale Mehmet, 24, during Friday’s episode.

Sitting down for a chat with the Glaswegian, she said: ‘Did Teddy come back once and say he was sexually attracted to someone? No.’

Fighting Teddy’s corner, Dale asked Faye: ‘Do you remember every conversation you had with Sam and me?’

The conversation quickly turned sour with Faye storming off and shouting back at Dale: ‘Don’t f**king come at me.’

She was also quick to shut down Matthew Macnabb, 26, as he protested against her fiery behaviour, telling him: ‘Keep your mouth shut like you normally do.’
