Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough shares FINAL IMAGE of the two before tragic death

Riley Keough bid a heartbreaking farewell to her late mother Lisa Marie Presley on Tuesday afternoon when she shared a photo of the final time they were together before her mother’s shocking death at age 54.

The 33-year-old actress was pictured sitting with her mother at a restaurant as they flashed sweet smiles at the camera, which she described as ‘the last time I saw my beautiful mama.’

She didn’t specify how long the photo was taken before Lisa Marie’s tragic death on January 12, after she went into cardiac arrest at home and had to be rushed to a hospital after CPR was performed.

The sweet snap was also shared after Riley revealed that Lisa Marie had become a grandmother shortly before her death, as she and her husband Ben Smith-Peterson had welcomed their first child, a daughter, shortly before her death.

Saying goodbye: Riley Keough, 33, shared a photo to Instagram documenting the final time she saw her late mother Lisa Marie Presley on Tuesday. Her mother died on January 12 at age 54 after going into cardiac arrest

Riley wore a dazzling lustrous gray crop top and skirt combo, and both stars leaned closer to each other for the photo.

‘I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this. ❤️,’ she wrote.

Riley’s post was a way to say goodbye to her late mother after she was too overcome with emotion to deliver the speech she had prepared for Lisa Marie’s memorial service on Sunday.

Instead, her husband Ben Smith-Petersen delivered the prepared speech in her place.

During his address, the Australian stuntman revealed that he and Riley had welcomed their first child together in secret.

‘I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,’ Riley wrote, after she was spotted a day earlier carrying an unknown baby upon her arrival at Graceland.

‘I remember you driving me in my car seat playing Aretha Franklin,’ she wrote. ‘I remember the feeling I’d get when you picked me up from school.’

‘Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this world,’ she added, before writing that her late brother Benjamin Keough — who died by suicide in 2020 — and her half-sisters are ‘products of your heart.’

‘We are you, you are us,’ Riley wrote. ‘Thank you for trying so hard for all of us.’

The service was a family affair, and Lisa Marie’s mother Priscilla Presley was also on hand to pay tribute to her daughter before laying her to rest.

She read a poem that she attributed to one of her granddaughters, though she didn’t specify if Riley had written it, or if it was penned by one of Lisa Marie’s fraternal twins Finley or Harper, 14.

The author called her mother ‘an icon, a role model and a superhero.’

‘She always knew she wouldn’t be here too long… some say a broken heart killed her,’ she wrote, referring to Benjamin’s shocking death.

The ex-wife of Elvis Presley added her own sentiments at the end: ‘Our hearts are broken. Lisa we all love you.’

An autopsy for Lisa Marie was completed just days after her death, but the a cause of death is being withheld pending the results of a toxicology screen, which could take some time.

The final toxicology report will reveal whether there were any substances in her system at the time of her death.

Riley has managed to step out from the shadow of her famous mother and grandfather after establishing herself as an acclaimed actress.

After working as a model in her teens, she got her first major role in a film with The Runaways (2010), a biopic about the influential all-female rock band from the 1970s.

She increased her profile with roles in Magic Mike (2012) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), leading up to an acclaimed supporting performance opposite Shia LaBeouf in American Honey (2016).
