She said: ‘It came out like an animal, it looked like a stingray. Then they checked me and I didn’t need any stitches and I didn’t tear. Now I’m just letting my body heal’
She said: ‘I had a natural home birth with no drugs and the midwife said she’d never seen someone give birth so textbook the way I did. I had a bit of gas and air, which we ran out of and they had to go to hospital to get some more, but I was in my zone and I did it.
Lauren said the magnitude of the labour pains made her feel like ‘I was about to die’, with the star already 8cm dilated when she was checked by a midwife. Contractions then followed every 30 seconds.
The former TOWIE star said: ‘Oh my Lord! I was in my front room screaming, “Please, someone help me!”… It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in all my life.’
Revealing that she received a burst of energy when she got to the final stages of her labour, Lauren detailed how Larose was delivered as she was standing up.
Lauren’s partner Charles was supporting her throughout the labour, saying: ‘I was getting my hair pulled and every time she had a contraction she was grabbing my face and gouging my eyes out. But you just go through it, comfort her and reassure her she’s doing well.’
Baby joy: Lauren announced she was expecting her first child with Charles on January 19, three months after confirming their relationship
