Kelly Bensimon and boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov looked blissfully happy during a rare outing together in New York City on Labor Day Weekend.

The on-again, off-again couple duo were seen having a great time together as the former reality star, 53, ran by her man’s side while he rollerbladed.

At one point during their outing, Bensimon playfully patted her partner’s rear as they merrily chatted away around Manhattan’s Downtown area.

For her workout, the Real Housewives Of New York City alum showed off her tanned and toned legs in a pair of short black shorts.

She completed her sporty ensemble with a gold cross necklace, black tank top and mismatched sneakers.

Meanwhile, her beau wore a navy Knicks baseball cap, matching shorts and a pair of black sunglasses.

Things were not as rosy for the pair more than a decade ago, when Bensimon was arrested on assault charges for hitting Stefanov.

‘She was arrested on March 5 at 9:10 a.m. for punching her fiancé in the face, and [she] gave him a laceration under his left eye. She was arrested for assault — it’s a misdemeanor,’ the New York City Police Department told People at the time.

The New York Post reported that Bensimon may have also been attacked, as a source said she was sporting ‘a fat lip.’

Even at the time, Bensimon and Stefanov were reported to be dating on and off, and the two have continued to come back to each other in the ensuing 11 years.

The Post quoted a friend of Stefanov’s after the assault who said he claimed the two were engaged, though a source close to Bensimon disputed that claim to People and said the two weren’t even exclusive at the time.
