‘I was, like, ‘Oh my gosh’. And I’d do it for my husband, who has a great ear, cause he’s a musician, and he’d be, like, ‘Hmmm’. Kinda scary.’

Kidman also revealed that she had second thoughts about playing Lucille Ball as she wasn’t sure she was up to the task of portraying the beloved Hollywood icon.

‘I actually sent Aaron (Sorkin – the director) an e-mail saying, “I think I’m actually the wrong person now. I know I said ‘yes,’ but I’m now saying no”,’ the Oscar winner said.

Nicole now admits she was ‘really glad’ he pushed her to play Lucille.
