Kate Hudson enjoys the ‘healing hands’ of mother Goldie Hawn as she gets early Mother’s Day facial

Mother’s Day has come early for Kate Hudson.

The 42-year-old actress received a luxurious facial from her mother Goldie Hawn as they spent quality time together with Kate’s two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Rani.

‘Mamas healing hands!’ began Hudson, who shared a sweet snapshot of the 75-year-old Overboard star working magic on her visage.

She continued: ‘Feeling extra grateful for this afternoon of beauty with my beautiful daughter and radiant mother.’

Hudson goes on to reveal how her mother ‘taught me about Le Mer when I was little and I always return to the iconic rich Crème or the soft Moisturizing Soft Cream,’ which is her current favorite.

The video begins with Rani, dressed in her pajamas, in her mother’s arms as she applies a small dab of cream on the top of her mother’s left hand.

And in another adorable moment: Rani quickly follows her mother’s lead and starts to gently rub the lotion into her skin.

‘This is the idea – you start young, using creams young,’ Hawn tells Hudson, in a reference to her granddaughter, before using funny sarcasm to explain the spots along her arms.

‘That’s why I have all these little brown spots on me,’ she added just as her daughter asks, ‘How does this feel?,’ which she quickly responds that ‘it feels so good.’

Dressed in a white dress blouse, Hudson and Rani then share a cute moment when the little blondie tries to squirt her mom with an application bottle.

‘What we want to do is keep it [the cream] in and move it through your musculature,’ Hawn says with a soft tone to her voice, to which Hudson laughed and joked: ‘I think I just need more cream on my face.’

The pair would share more laughs when Hawn added what Hudson thought was a heavy dose of another cream to her cheeks and forehead.

‘Mommy, I love and thank you for my facial,’ Hudson says as the two shared a sweet kiss to seal their afternoon together.

‘I remember watching my mother put on her lipstick when I was a little girl. I wanted to be just like her! My granddaughter is starting young watching her mommy moisturize her pretty face with @LaMer.’

She ended with: ‘And the circle of life continues – what’s good for mommy is good for me.’

This year Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 9, in the United States.
