Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson ‘MARRIES his fiancée Grace Zito in a secret ceremony’

Ricky Wilson has reportedly married his fiancée Grace Zito in an intimate ceremony.

The Kaiser Chiefs star, 43, who revealed in March he’s had to postpone his wedding four times due to the Covid pandemic, reportedly tied the knot with the stylist at Greenhead Park in Huddersfield on Saturday, according to OK!

Ricky and Grace, who have been together since 2015, exchanged vows three years after announcing their engagement, and were joined by their beloved pet pooch Reedus.

Ricky and Grace were reportedly joined by a small group of loved ones, as Covid restrictions mean only 30 guests are currently allowed to attend a wedding.

The singer had celebrated his stag party the previous evening, before he and Grace exchanged vows at a bandstand in the park.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Ricky Wilson for comment.

It comes after Ricky revealed in March that he and Grace have had to postpone their wedding four times due to the ongoing Covid restrictions.

Speaking on Lorraine, the star admitted he was ‘really desperate’ to set a date and would probably tie the knot next year.

Ricky said that they didn’t want to get married without bell ringers and that they don’t want to have Covid-19 as a ‘background’ during their big day.

Earlier that month, Boris Johnson had warned June 21 is the earliest possible date for full-size weddings but even then it will be subject to a review of the Government’s ‘four tests’.

Ricky told host Lorraine Kelly: ‘We’ve postponed it four times, it keeps, I want to set a date, I’m really desperate now.

‘I think we’re just going to do it, want everyone to be there and not have Covid as a background, no masks.’

Ricky added: ‘The thing that stopped us this time is that we couldn’t have bell ringers, and we thought, you need bell ringers, we want bell ringers at our wedding!’

Revealing when he and Grace could potentially tie the knot, he added: ‘Probably wait till next year. We’ve got the best band in the world playing… The Function Band’ he jokingly added: ‘Not Kaiser Chiefs!’

The ‘best band in the world’ he was referencing was Hertfordshire-based The Function Band, who have delivered dazzling and wide-ranging performances for over 12 years for a host of stars and lavish events.

The group played at Billie Faiers’ 30th birthday party, Steve Coogan’s 50th birthday and Josh Wright’s Majorca wedding.

Elsewhere during the chat, Ricky admitted that it was ‘amazing’ having a break from performing during the lockdown.

He quipped: ‘Hey Lorraine, I hear all sorts of artists all the time… it’s been amazing for me to have a break, I’ve done it for 16 years.

‘Honestly, I want to get to the point where I want it and at the moment… I’m not. I’m enjoying myself.’

Ricky was on the ITV chat show to talk about his new children’s art series, Art Jam, after he was inspired during his stint on Celebrity Supply Teacher.

He said: ‘Everyone is good at art, you just have to let go and be yourself. Lockdown has been weird for everybody, you know, I’m an international pop star.

‘Nice to have art to fall back on, it’s always been with me and got me where I am today. I want to encourage children to enjoy art!’

Ricky then surprised Lorraine with a painting of her beloved pet dog Angus, which she gushed: ‘That is so kind of you!’

In September, the musician revealed he and fiancée Grace had postponed their wedding after they were scheduled to marry at The Pig hotel in Bath that month.

The pair were set to celebrate what would have been their wedding with a fish lunch in Cornwall at a restaurant they’ve tried to get into for ‘years’.

Ricky told The Mirror: ‘We weren’t allowed singing in the church which was a big thing, 15 people just isn’t enough, it is too hard to make a decision who could be there and who couldn’t.

‘I mean I am in a band with five guys. Also Grace wanted McBusted for the reception and there are too many of them for the rule of six.

‘You would like the freedom not have your brain reminded about the global pandemic when you are trying to celebrate the best day of your life. I think we will just have to wait. The weird thing is I am more excited about it now than ever.’

The duo met when they were both working on BBC’s The Voice and he popped the question in Cornwall three years later.

Ricky recently revealed that them being forced to spend more time together in lockdown has proven they’re meant to be together.

The media personality compared the pandemic to retirement and enthused knowing they can handle each other in that environment is ‘really good’.
