They’ve never shied away from the spotlight, with even their wedding televised for the nation on A Current Affair in 2019.

And now Jules Robinson, 38, and Cam Merchant, 37, have put their lives on display again, with the reality TV couple setting up a makeshift red carpet event in their backyard on Wednesday.

For two-and-a-half toe-curling minutes, the couple attempted lame gags, plugged cars and conducted interviews with an unplugged microphone.

Former professional cricketer Merchant bizarrely hosted the video while wearing a tuxedo and thongs.

At one point Jules grimaced as she removed a nappy humourously stuck beneath her dress.

The mother-of-one revealed she had been nominated for four awards at the awards show, to be held on Wednesday night.

Cam and Jules tied the knot in real life three years ago, and welcomed their first child, baby Oliver, in October 2020.

Although it’s believed the pair received much of their wedding services for free as part of a TV deal, had they have paid for the extravagant affair it would have potentially cost about $80,000.

Jules’ two custom-made dresses from Nicky Velani would have cost her an estimated $20,000 had she paid for them in full.

Before her wedding, Jules tried on several dresses in the QT Hotel’s luxury ‘state suite’, which typically costs around $1,500 per night.

A segment also aired on ACA showing Jules presenting her bridesmaids with earrings from Roman & French. These gifts would likely have cost around $1,000 in total.

Cameron and Jules chose Beta Bar and Alpha Restaurant in Sydney’s CBD as their wedding venue, with the establishment closing both floors of the building for the ceremony and reception.

Although management declined to provide a price guide, the private dining menu costs $95 per head, which adds up to $16,650 for the couple’s 170 guests.

In addition, 40 bottles of the venue’s cheapest champagne would have cost $5,000, and the couple’s budget wine sponsor likely provided at least $1,275 worth of booze.
