John’s skintight red top clung to his bulging biceps as he made his way around the set with faux weapons attached to his belt.
The Blockers star also sported off-white trousers, dirtied at the knee, boots, and blue gloves.
And while stakes may be high on just about any set, the dashing wrestler looked relaxed as he flashed a peace sign while enjoying a quick break from filming.
John will make his debut as Peacemaker, a DC Comics character first appearing in 1966, in this year’s The Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn.

The outing comes after John hilariously revealed he once got into a fist fight with his brother Dan at their brother Matt’s wedding during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Congratulating John on his recent marriage to Shay Shariatzadeh, the talk show host asked if he had ever gone through any wedding fails.

Just married! Cena tied the knot with wife Shay Shariatzadeh in October 2020
‘Mine was my brother Matt’s wedding,’ John confessed. ‘I thought it would be a nice gesture to open the bar. Drinks are on me, that’s my gift to the bride and groom. Nobody would have to pay for anything.’
It was after offering to pay for everyone’s drinks that a brawl broke out between the two of them on the dance floor.
‘So, I found out it was a mistake when my brother Dan and I got into a fistfight in the middle of the dance floor and closed the wedding down.
‘You could tell, right then and there, who were guests, and who were a member of the Cena family,’ he added. ‘Because the guests were like, “What are you gonna do to stop it?” and the Cena family’s like, “No, no, let ’em figure it out. Let ’em do it.”‘
Fan can next catch John playing Jakob Toretto in the upcoming action film F9.
The movie will be released June 25, 2021.
