Jackie O Henderson reveals why she’s now anti-Meghan Markle

Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals why she’s now anti-Meghan Markle after spending months defending the Duchess in the wake of her Oprah Winfrey interview

After months of defending the Duchess of Sussex, Australian radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has now decided she’s ‘anti-Meghan Markle.’

The 46-year-old got into a heated discussion about the royals with her KIIS FM co-host Kyle Sandilands on Thursday, conceding she’s changed her mind about Meghan.

Although she was sympathetic at the time of Meghan and Prince Harry’s now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, Jackie admitted: ‘The more I sit back and think about it, the more I don’t like what happened there.’

The radio hosts were discussing Harry’s latest sit-down with Oprah for the Apple TV+ documentary series The Me You Can’t See when Kyle steered the conversation towards the Prince’s wayward youth.

‘Remember when we thought Harry was going to get with Britney Spears?’ he asked, referring to rumours that plagued the young royal when he was a teenager.

‘Well I think he’s gone the wrong way anyway. I think he’s made a mistake with Meghan,’ Jackie replied, leaving Kyle stunned by her backflip.

The self-confessed Princess Kate super-fan cited Meghan’s claims during the Oprah interview that Kate ‘made her cry at her wedding.’

‘I thought she threw Kate under the bus in that interview. I thought that was really unnecessary,’ she said.

Jackie agreed with Kyle that Meghan had mental health issues and it was possible that Kate was being ‘a b***h’ on the Duchess’ wedding day.

‘Well, you know what, don’t throw her under the bus. Because it’s unnecessary. Like she even said [later in the interview] “I don’t dislike Kate, she apologised” so really…’

‘I don’t mind Harry,’ Jackie confessed. ‘I don’t know. I’m torn. I think they should be able to say what they want but I just didn’t like what Meghan said about Kate.’

Kyle was defensive of Meghan, saying the Duchess was on the verge of suicide. He said his issue lies with Harry and his latest ‘attack on the Queen’ – a reference to Harry’s comments in Apple TV’s The Me You Don’t See last Friday.

‘I don’t know what’s going to happen with this whole thing – but if he keeps b***hing about his granny, and she dies, I’ll be very angry,’ he said of comments Harry made last Friday.

Jackie is a self-confessed Princess Kate super-fan and conceded her bias may have clouded her judgement.

‘He said he father hated the way his father brought him up, that his father brought him up that way and he’s “ending the trauma now.”‘

‘That means his grandmother and grandfather. He’s having a go at her. She’s 100-years-old for God’s sake!’
