This is the hilarious moment a husky tumbled into a lake as he frantically tried to scratch an itch on a wooden deck. 

Hockey coach Nicolas Marrion, 20, was relaxing with his husky, Juno, outside a cottage in Quebec, Canada, in August this year.

He started to film the one-and-a-half-year-old husky as the dog began frantically rolling around on the jetty trying to scratch an itch.

As he frantically scratched Juno started to spin towards the edge of the deck

Footage shows Juno rubbing his head and neck against the wooden decking and pushing himself forward with his hind legs.

The dog rolls around vigorously for a few seconds but suddenly overbalances and spins himself over the edge of the dock and into the lake. 

The footage ends as Nic hastily puts down his phone and can of soda to go help Juno out of the water. 

After the footage was shared online, one viewer commented: ‘Nine out of ten for execution.’

Huskies aren’t the keenest of swimmers but can learn to love swimming if they are introduced to water carefully, according to experts. 

And Juno isn’t the only dog to have wowed viewers online as he struggled to reach an itch.

Fat Borris, as he is affectionately known by family and friends, was filmed spinning round and round on its bottom trying to reach his head in Leeds, England.

Adorable footage shows the bulldog trying to reach a sore area on its ear with one stubby leg reached in the air.
