‘Maybe I should just slide into the DMs’: Home and Away star Sam Frost reveals she wants Sam Mac to join her singles lockdown bubble

Sam Frost was part of an epic prank this week on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa

The newly single Home and Away star, 32, pranked called Wippa’s manager Mark Klemens and asked him if he had any talent on his books who could join her singles lockdown bubble in Sydney.

Things took a hilarious turn when Sam asked Mark if Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac would be keen.

‘Maybe I should just slide into the DMs’: Home and Away star Sam Frost revealed this week on Nova that she wants Sam Mac (left) to join her singles lockdown bubble and move in with her. But it was all apart of a cheeky prank

‘It’s just easier with someone with a profile, because they just get it as opposed to some random that you met on Tinder or something!’ Sam began.

She added: ‘What about Sam Mac, is he on your books?’

Mark was quick to tell Sam that the Sunrise star has a girlfriend, stylist Rebecca James.

‘Yes he is, Sam is on our books but he’s got a partner,’ Mark said, a little shocked.

‘Oh, well how serious are they though? Do you know what I mean!’ Sam joked.

Sam then said she might ‘try and slide into Sam’s DMs’ as she follows his cat on Instagram.

‘Maybe I should just slide into the DM’s, the classic old way!’ she added.

Sam persisted, then asking about Wippa, who is happily married to wife Lisa.

‘Do you have anyone else? Rocky relationships are fine because I think if you just give them a nudge in lockdown, people realise they don’t like each other and then they’re like oh, “Sam is fun, she’s hilarious”,’ she said.

‘What about Wippa? How’s his relationship going? I know he’s married but should be busy with the kids or something. And he lives just around the corner from my house!’

Mark then said that Wippa is happily married to Lisa but said Wippa might ‘go for a walk’ with Sam during lockdown to keep her company.

Wippa then cut in on the call, joking: ‘I mean I could move in!’

Mark was shocked when he discovered it was all a prank and said he was relieved.

‘I was thinking, “this is nuts!”,’ he said with a laugh.

Sam Frost is single, after her split with on-off boyfriend and navy diver, Dave Bashford.

In new rules introduced this week, Sydney singles can now keep some company in lockdown by nominating one person who can visit them over the next four weeks, amid concerns for their mental health.

Lockdown is set to end at the end of August, but it assumedly will be extended if Sydney coronavirus case numbers don’t go down.
