Rudy Giuliani‘s 22-year-old communication’s director has resigned, her Instagram made apparent this week – and she will be replaced with a former public relations representative for Lindsey Lohan’s family.
Christianné Allen, who joined Giuliani Communications LLC in August 2019, rose to prominence as a conservative, pro-Trump social media influencer.
Her instagram, where she is followed by more than 18,100 people, now reads in the bio: ‘Fmr Communications and media @therudygiuliani.’
Allen’s next career move will be at a new startup, the name of which she did not yet reveal.
She told The Daily Beast, according to a Monday report, that she is being replaced by Todd Shapiro, a former spokesperson for actress Lindsey Lohan’s family.
Shapiro also claims to have represented Trump properties in the late 1990s and Democratic U.S. Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York.
The Todd Shapiro Associates Public Relations firm’s website shows among his client list Hooters of Long Island and New Jersey and the National Hockey League team the New York Islanders.

Allen helped boost Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, which ultimately led her to swift ascent through MAGA world. Giuliani hired Allen while she was still a 20-year-old student taking courses online through Liberty University.
She helped Giuliani navigate communications and social media through a number of turbulent scandals.
And she is now leaving her post as the ex-personal attorney for former President Trump faces a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit and a federal investigation into alleged involvement in foreign influence in U.S. presidential campaigns.
Allen said ‘to my knowledge, Federal Investigators have not contacted me.’ She did not answer when asked if any of her communications were subpoenaed or shared with federal agents.
The shake up in Giuliani’s PR and media staffing also comes after he laid off other staff earlier this year in the midst of mounting financial obstacles related to legal bills – including civil lawsuits due to his forceful challenges to the 2020 presidential election results.
Trump has distanced himself from the attorney and former New York City mayor who was once his closest ally.
In February 2021, then-Trump spokesman Jason Miller told reporters: ‘Mayor Giuliani is not currently representing President Trump in any legal matters.’
He reassured in a follow up tweet at the time: ‘Simply that there are no pending cases where Mayor Giuliani is representing the President. The Mayor remains an ally and a friend.’
Allen, in her few years with Giuliani, spearheaded efforts to modernize his social media and digital footprint.
‘As I reflect, I am proud of the accomplishments we achieved,’ she told Daily Beast of her time with Giuliani. ‘One of which was building Rudy Giuliani’s Common Sense podcast from conception to one of the top political podcasts in the country in under a year.’
‘Looking forward, I once again feel blessed to have the opportunity for continued growth and development within a rising tech startup,’ she added.
During her time with Giuliani, Allen traveled extensively with the top Trump ally.

In December 2019, about two months after joining Giuliani’s media company, Allen traveled with him to Ukraine on a ‘fact-finding’ mission. The trip was filmed by right-wing outlet One America News Network and correspondent Chanel Rion went along for the ride.
‘Truth be told, I just feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Mayor Giuliani over the past two years,’ Allen said when asked about her tenure with the controversial figure.
‘I am grateful for the life lessons, skills, and people I have had the privilege to meet,’ Allen said. ‘God is good and faithful.’
