Former OnlyFans workers have retained access to confidential customer info through third party site

REVEALED: OnlyFans employees can access customer credit card details using payment app even AFTER they  have stopped working for porn site

  • A former OnlyFans employee revealed that he and other colleagues have retained access to confidential customer information from a third party app
  • The app Zendesk logs and reports customer and subscriber interactions
  • Zendesk gave some OnlyFans employees access to customer credit card numbers, drivers’ licenses and passports
  • The OnlyFans app previously received criticism in August when they wanted to ban pornographic content from their site that sparked outrage among sex workers

Ex-OnlyFans workers can still access customers’ sensitive information – including their IDs and credit card details – even after quitting the site.

An unnamed former worker revealed the loophole that allowed ex-staffers to continue to log onto an app called Zendesk, used by only fans to answer customer service queries, and which sees subscribers and creators share their personal information to verify their identity.

When a worker – or former worker – logs into OnlyFans’ Zendesk account, they can see ‘tickets’ used to deal with customer service issues.

Those tickets gave the former employees access to confidential information, including their credit card numbers, drivers’ licenses and passports.

The user data from this app also covers the content creators which they use for member identification purposes – including ID documents such as passports and drivers’ licenses used to confirm their ages.

There is no indication the data has been used for nefarious purposes. But OnlyFans is best known for letting creators shared x-rated photos videos of themselves with subscribers for a fee – with many of those subscribers  likely unhappy at the thought of their personal details left open to exposure.

OnlyFans has had many celebrity content creators including actress Bella Thorne, who made $1 million on the day she opened her account, and rapper Tyga, who left in August to start his own rival porn site.

On average, an OnlyFans creator makes about $180 a month and the top one percent of these accounts make 33 percent of the site’s money, according to AfroTech.

It was founded by British businessman Tim Stokely in 2016 who is now worth about $150 million.

DailyMail.com contacted the OnlyFans press office for comment.

Many other companies have reportedly cut off access to employees who used Zendesk but some of the former OnlyFans workers were still able to access them.

The former employee remained anonymous during the interview in fear of retaliation from OnlyFans.

‘It’s a shame that they have this large company and feel they can play with people’s lives like this,’ he told Vice.

‘There are already so many things they are in trouble for and privacy should not be one of them. Everyone on that platform, especially sex workers, need to have their information be safe and it isn’t.’

The revelations allegedly go against the OnlyFans privacy policy that states they ‘respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data we hold about you.’

OnlyFans sparked fury from its creators – and many subscribers – after it announced plans to ban all x-rated content in August.

It did so amid pressure from banks which process the payments made by its subscribers, but backed down on that policy after an outcry.

The OnlyFans reckoning followed an expose of porn site PornHub, which was deserted by payment firms after it was revealed clips showing rape and child pornography had been uploaded to its site.
