She then went on to share her guidance, suggesting that parents who aim to lose weight should ‘prepare your food in advance for breakfast/ lunch’, ‘workout at home and get the kids involved’ and ‘get your NEAT up (the energy you use up in a day) by being active with the kids…[by] simply walking’.

She detailed her top tips in the caption: ‘ Here’s my 3 tips to being successful with kids at home for the next 6 weeks – Prepare your food in advance for breakfast/ lunch as these are quick easy meals you’ll likely have on the go. Follow a family friendly meal plan so the whole family can eat the same and simply weigh your portion out in the evening.’

‘Workout at home and get the kids involved too; educate on the importance of physical activity for them and a good sweat to start the day well for you! OR, if you’ve got the option of childcare, head to the gym and take that as your much needed “me time”. (I create both home and gym workouts)’

‘- get your NEAT up (the energy you use up in a day) by being active with the kids. Start with a short distance and turn it into a fun “competition” of how much further you can walk each day. You’d be amazed by the mental and physical benefits from simply walking.’

‘I work closely with all my online coaching clients to build them a plan around their lifestyle, daily routine and obstacles in need of consideration. Whether that means a mixture of home and gym based workouts, a few on the go snacks per day instead of 3 full meals or quick and inexpensive recipes for all the family’, Cici writes.

She rounds off her post with: ‘Let’s chat about how you can smash your goals these summer hols’, adding an array of yellow hearts and stars.

As well as being a much-loved member of the team on First Dates, Cici also teaches hot Pilates in her spare time.

The Brit often shares her fitness journey on Instagram. In a previous clip, wearing her side-parted locks down in loose waves, Cici explained how she stays fit.

‘After the wildness that this year has brought us I think it’s really important that we stick to a routine and that we show up for ourselves,’ she stressed.

‘And one of the ways that we can do that is by eating healthier foods.

‘I get asked a lot of questions about protein powders and why I use them in my diet. In a tiny little nutshell, protein can help build muscle and repair tissue.’

The dating show star went on to show her 154,000 followers her favourite protein powder made with milk from grass fed cows before demonstrating how she makes a smoothie.
