On Saturday, Samantha, 44, shared a photo of herself lounging on the couch and watching television with her beloved dog Banjo.

She looked unrecognisable compared to her days on the Channel Seven morning show, with her hair appearing a natural shade of white instead of the yellow blonde tresses she used to sport.

Sam kept things comfortable and casual in a pair of black leggings, a grey wool sweater and a pair of Ugg boots.

A TV tray holding a glass of water, a remote control and a magazine was in front of her.

However, on Sunday, Samantha confirmed she didn’t have white hair after all, uploading an selfie to Instagram Stories while lying in bed with her blonde hair on show.

‘Yeah nah… still blonde,’ she captioned the photo, adding laughing emojis.

Sam’s response suggests she may have changed the look of her hair in Saturday’s post using a filter.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in late April, Samantha candidly admitted: ‘I barely brush my hair and put a bit of lipstick on these days, and it is lovely.’

‘It is absolutely bliss to not have to worry about hair and makeup for this part of my career.’

Since leaving the show after eight years on-air as co-host, Sam is now fronting her own podcast called Something To Talk About for Stellar magazine.

‘The beauty of this podcast is that it doesn’t matter whether you are right or left in politics, whether you are male or female, I want to hear your story,’ she added.
