This is the moment an emotional daughter hugged her dead mother’s coat after buying it back when she found it on eBay
Jasmine Southern sobbed as she embraced and wore the green cord jacket after discovering it on the e-commerce site.
Miss Southern had searched for the jacket in local charity shops in Bedford but began to lose hope that she would ever find it.
But Miss Southern was astonished to see it listed for sale on eBay and said she knew it was her mother’s work coat because there was a splodge of paint on one sleeve that she had put there when she was little.
‘When your dad gave away your mum’s coat and you never thought you’d see it again,’ she wrote on a TikTok video.

‘Today I found someone selling this. It’s her size… [there is] a paint mark I made when I was a child.’
A second video then shows her counting down the days before the coat was delivered to her home.
In a series of touching TikTok videos, she revealed her father gave the coat away following her mother’s death from cancer
And a third clip shows Miss Southern unwrapping the coat and hugging and smelling it as tears roll down her face.
Miss Southern has been raising money for Cancer Research UK following her mother’s death.
She recently completed a challenge to walk more than 10,000 steps every day for a month and made more than £500 for the charity.
