Her eating-disorder battle became so serious her weight plummeted to just 43kg and she was barely surviving on just 500 calories per day.

‘I struggled with anorexia for 10 years,’ she told Confidential.

She added that the problem developed in her early twenties when she became self-conscious while working for fashion magazines.

‘I used to work for fashion magazines so I was always self-conscious about my weight. I became obsessed with losing weight and could never enjoy food,’ she said.

‘I started calorie counting and would survive on 500 calories a day and workout for two hours. I was skeletal and at one point I went down to 43kg.’

Juliette told the newspaper she was also diagnosed with depression, and at one stage contemplated suicide following the death of her father in 2015.

A year has passed since she was dumped by Locky Gilbert on The Bachelor after she confronted him about not showing any interest in her.

But she’s since found love with tattooed boyfriend Alessandro ‘Alex’ Del Conte.

Juliette told Daily Mail Australia in July the pair had been dating for about three months, after meeting at a bar in Sydney.

‘I’m so happy and excited for once,’ she gushed. ‘I think I may have found The One. Alex is the kindest, sweetest dude – and he is quirky like me.’

‘He is Italian and works as a professional cocktail bartender at the Hyatt [hotel], and studies fashion design,’ she added.

Juliette said that after a string of failed short-lived relationships – some of which she claims were abusive – it feels good to finally be in love again.

Love: 'We moved in together when lockdown commenced and instead of going nuts seeing each other every day, we get closer and laugh so much,' she continued
