Controversial anti-vaxxer influencer Chloe Szep throws a lavish 1st birthday party for her son Arti

Controversial anti-vaxxer influencer Chloe Szep refuses to lie low amid backlash and instead throws a lavish 1st birthday party for her son Arti

She’s stirred up plenty of controversy with her anti-vaxxer beliefs, but Chloe Szep is seemingly unaffected by the backlash.

The 22-year-old influencer shared a series of happy photos from her son Arti’s first birthday on Instagram on Monday.

‘Angel Arti’s birthday party on the weekend,’ she simply captioned the post, showing off his Winnie the Pooh themed birthday bash.

Not a care in the world: She’s stirred up plenty of controversy with her anti-vaxxer beliefs, but Chloe Szep is seemingly unaffected by the backlash

Chloe opted for a figure-hugging white jumpsuit with a corseted bodice and strategically placed white lace panelling for the party.

Her long blonde hair was worn loose with two thin braids framing her face, and she opted for natural-looking makeup.

Earlier this month, it was revealed the controversial social media star had lost over 6,000 fans after sharing a post supporting the anti-lockdown ‘Freedom rally’ protest.

It’s proof there’s a growing backlash against influencers spreading misinformation about vaccines with their impressionable young followers.

Chloe has posted anti-lockdown messages on her Instagram, despite a lack of any medical qualifications, and she also follows anti-vaxxer social media accounts.

The Gold Coast-based influencer faced more criticism last week when she went shopping without a face mask.

Chloe uploaded a YouTube video documenting her visit to a shopping centre with her boyfriend Mitchell Orval, with neither wearing mandatory face masks.

Fans blasted the couple for their behaviour, labelling it ‘reckless’ and ‘entitled’.

But Chloe went into damage control on Sunday, sharing a lengthy Instagram post saying she’d made a ‘mistake’ by not wearing a mask.

She insisted she wasn’t ‘anti or pro anything’, despite recently voicing her opposition to vaccines and COVID lockdowns.

‘Where I live, I am lucky enough to have more freedoms than other places and for this I’m grateful,’ she wrote.

‘I never want to come across as abusing those rights. It was my mistake for publicly not wearing a mask and I take ownership of that mistake.’
