Chris Hemsworth shows off his washboard abs surfing in Byron Bay

Chris Hemsworth is at the centre of a Covid controversy amid reports he refused to appear in a government advertising campaign promoting the vaccine rollout.

But the Hollywood star, 38, looked like he didn’t have a care in the world last Tuesday as he went for a surf with his wife, Elsa Pataky, in Byron Bay.

The Thor actor showed off his washboard abs as the couple caught waves at a deserted beach just a stone’s throw away from their $30million mansion.

Chris and Elsa, 45, wore matching black wetsuits for the surfing session.

At one stage, the Spanish actress caught a big wave back to the beach as her husband played with a cricket bat on the shore.
