She was billed as one of the most high-profile stars on the upcoming season of Big Brother VIP in Australia.
But it looks like Caitlyn Jenner will only appear on the show briefly, as she revealed on Saturday she’d already returned to America just a week after filming started.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star, 71, announced she was ‘glad to be back’ in California, where she is running for governor.

Caitlyn, who is currently running to replace California Governor Gavin Newsom in the state’s upcoming recall election, wrote on Twitter: ‘Great time abroad for fun and glad to be back in #California on the campaign trail!’
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star – who is rumoured to have been paid $500,000 for her stint on the show – later shared a picture of her beloved Labrador Bertha captioned: ‘So happy to be back in California!’
Filming for the new season started on July 30, with Caitlyn completing a mandatory two-week quarantine Down Under before entering the compound in Sydney.
Amid the news she’s landed in the US on Saturday, it means she was probably only in the house for a matter of days before returning home.

Caitlyn was dressed casually as she exited LAX airport, wearing a simple black V-neck sweater with a set of slim dark jeans.
She also wore grey, pink and yellow trainers and had her chestnut hair styled in waves.
It was back to business as soon as she landed back home, as she travelled to San Diego and posed with a small business owner in a photo shared on Twitter.

Big Brother VIP is set to air very soon, with other celebrities signing up including Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother Thomas, Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power and Australian rules footballer Dayne Beams.
Other stars set to appear on the upcoming reality series include Kyle Sandilands’ ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony, NRL star Matt Cooper, and actors Bernard Curry and Ellie Gonsalves.
