Big Brother Australia viewers were left disappointed after Lillian ‘Flex Mami’ Ahenkan was unanimously evicted on Tuesday night.

The digital influencer, 26, received an astonishing seven votes and was sent packing after she was put up for elimination by co-star Melissa McGorman.

Following her early elimination, one viewer tweeted: ‘Looks like BBAU 2021 is just as quick to see the POC [person of colour] leave as 2020. I’m so disappointed #BBAU.’

‘How come my faves always go first…. and I’m not surprised they voted the only POC woman on the block out of the house. Disappointed beyond BELIEF,’ another wrote.

A third viewer commented: ‘Watch Big Brother vote off every POC just like last season.’

‘Isn’t it interesting the only female POC is up for eviction #BigBrotherAU,’ a fourth tweeted.

After it was announced that she’d be leaving, Flex told the cameras: ‘I don’t want to go home just yet.’ 

‘I think the nail in my coffin was that I thought I was charismatic and I didn’t have as much support as I thought I did.’

Last year, three people of colour were eliminated in the first week of Big Brother.

Fijian-Australian Laura Coriakula was sent home during the first episode.

Chinese-Australian Allan Liang and Soobong Hwang, a Korean father of three were eliminated just days later.
